If you want to eat in a pleasant location, and in the street made famous by the Montalbano films, this isn't bad; right opposite the town hall, or police station in the films. I suspect this restaurant is more tourist orientated and the quality of the food testifies to this. We had spaghetti con sarde - pasta con sarde, a... More

Accidental visit while walking the town of ScIcli. Be sure to try the ravioli! Reasonably priced with the dining room below the level of the street. No view, but great service and food choices.

This was the only open restaurant we could find to have lunch at in scicli. Extremely slow service - we didn't even get acknowledged for 15 minutes. Prices were high for the quality and one main course was not what we ordered. No house wine available - only pricey bottles or by the (pricey) glass. Loads of flies buzzed around... More

Set in one of Scicli's picturesque plazas, opposite a building that features in the Montalbano TV series, the Millennium was recommended to us when we arrived at our apartment and we found it to be a great choice for an evening meal. While they do have some inside seating, there's lots of outside tables where you can watch the world... More

It started out be pleasant. We were a large party and were happy to be there. The waiter service was not sufficient to help our large crowd. With regrets it turned out to be nasty and belligerent.

We choose this establishment because they said they could accommodate a large group. Even though we had heard bad rumors we decided to try it. They were rude from the get go ! Mainly the one server that was supposedly the manager as well. He was beyond awful . The way he treated us was extremely out of line .... More

Right in the heart of the beautiful old town of Scicli opposite Montalbano's police station. But the Commissario is unlikely to eat here. It's ok, but no better than that. Given the number of besotted tourists eating (tourism in the region is up by 40% since Montalbano started) it'd be great if more staff spoke English. Have a coffee and... More

We arrived at 9:10pm waited 45 min. before the order was taken, the food arrived at 10:40 pm as we were deciding to just pay for the drinks and leave. Table was not set properly, not even bread or grissini arrived. I didn't eat the food, it wasn't appetising and surely after a very long wait I had lost my... More
