The restaurant was recommended to us as the best in the city. It was correct. The fish (we ordered eel) was outstanding. The wine was also very good as well as the service. It was raining outside so we had taken our time and enjoyed the lunch. Definitely the place to repeat if we come again.

The restaurant was on a quaint little boat on the canal. The food was delicious and service was good and pretty fast. Would definitely recommend the gnocchi.

Trying to get that great meal in regional restaurants highly recommended by TA and failing to get it is frustrating. How can the experiences be so different? It is not terrible, but is not that great. For the price and the rating on TA the expectations were high. Service with an attitude to top it off. Would not return and... More

We sent a request for a dinner reservation by email which was promptly confirmed within the hour so that was a good start. Our Italian is non-existent so we followed our well-trod path of turning up at 7:45pm (before the locals normally arrive at 8:00-8:15pm) so we could get a translation of the menu, only to find that the restaurant... We sat on the little boat area of the restaurant. The waiter was friendly and helpful but I found the menu slightly limiting. What we had was delicious but it was an expensive lunch for 2. We were given fishballs on the house which was very kind and unexpected. This was an ideal place for adults and although they welcomed... More

Seafood was delicious. Pasta was delicious. Wine was delicious. Lemon cello was delicious. Everything was great as well as the service and the servers. The prices were also reasonable for the excellent quality of food. We sat along the canal and enjoyed a beautiful evening.

Comacchio is a place worth visiting, of course for the super famous bridge but in my opinion especially for the small musuem exhibiting the contents of a roman ships which was recovered nearby in 1981. The Comacina is just few meters from both these locations, and it has tables inside but also outside on a boat anchored in the canal.... More

Description
The Comacina you breathe the same magical atmosphere that surrounds Comacchio ... In a very relaxed environment, we leave to comfort from fine cuisine signed Carli where gastronomy and hospitality are distinctive features of the Family. The kitchen offers guests just downstream fish and homegrown sea, the freshness of homemade pasta as it once was, homemade marinated and grilled fish on braci.Il all in an environment of simple elegance, with a excellent service that takes hospitality to the final cuddle, sweet, dessert and homemade sorbets, to leave a lasting sweet ricordo.Famiglia Carli
