6 for dinner and what a treat. 3 delightfully fresh and zingy Amuse Bouche as a prelude to the a la Carte Menu, although the tasting menu looked appetising. Beautiful presentation with great combinations for Hors D'oeuvre. My favourite the Piperade de Cedric, the excellent chef was superb. My fiend's pigeon was perfectly cooked and my duck breast was as... More

We have looked forward to this for a long time. It was closed when we were here last. Lovely restaurant, attentive staff. Good menu, but expensive. Great attention to detail, we had two starters, a main and desert. Starters were artichoke served in tempura batter, and, jambon sec with omelette and poached egg on top. Both excellent. The main was... More

The service was good, but we had to wait a long time between courses. We were very hungry, then when the food arrived we had to wait for them to explain everyone's meal, by which time the food was luke warm. I liked my starter but the rest was average, the main course had lots of vinegar in the sauce.... More

While staying at the Hotel L'Auberge Basque we enjoyed a four course dinner here one evening. The service was extraordinary, and the food was some of the best we have ever had. Everything was prepared and presented to perfection and the flavors were subtle and perfectly combined. It was a true culinary treat.

the food was very good but not excellent. The staff in general were good but one girl let the team down. The room in the hotel was great, no bad comments at all!!!

Room was small. Shower not very user friendly..Service fair. Food good but don't understand the Michelin stars , not worthy. Of the hype.

I read about the restaurant and inn in a NY Times article, and my mother and I made a point of experiencing both on a recent trip to the Bordeaux area of southwestern France. It was everything I'd hoped it would be and more. The setting is a fairy tale, the service was superb, but most of all the meal... More

We took the degustation menu. It was beautifully prepared and presented, but I probably wouldn't do it again. Very expensive, and for me had too many flavours fighting for top position. Something a little more simple - but that's just me.
