At long last I’ve enjoyed really good food “made in Malta”. After 9 years of searching finally found the place. And aplenty. Very delicious, very good value. You need to make the detour and get out of Spinoza bay.

We came here at the recommendation of a local guide that we hired for two days. She let us know that it was farm to table and where her and her husband prefer to eat as they live in the neighborhood. We ended up taking...More

You have to book here. It's so popular and I can see why. Friendly service with good explanations about all the food. No menus but recommendations. Don't eat much for lunch if you're going here later! Lovely traditional food in a beautiful building and great...More

We had really no idea what to expect and were a little confused when no menus were offered. Even for the wine they just asked us to describe what we would like and then bought a bottle they thought we would like (and we did)....More

We booked in advance (which is a must),a knowledgeable waiter, as we had not been there before he suggested that we started with the antipasto which was excellent, a really large selection which the waiter described in detail. Then we had ravioli filled with Ricotta...More

Fantastic home made food with fresh ingredients. Some of the best meat (rooster) I have eaten in a long time. Staff was extremely friendly and very forthcoming. Boat trip from Valletta was an additional plus :-)

We really enjoyed the evening at Tal-Petut. The food was awesome and there was a lot of things to eat. You have to know that you can just have that one menu, choosing only the meat. It isn't really cheap for maltese standards, but absolutely...More

Very cosy small restaurant with delicious food and a very friendly service. Everything was freshly prepared and especially the starters were the hit. Strongly recommend to reserve a table in advance.

As Glen J says i don't believe Tal-Petut is open for breakfast. They arrange private gatherings but if you don't contact them, i would say they only do dinners ( at least when i was there, beginning May). We wanted to have... More
