Called into amaretto on Monday evening. Ordered our garlic bread starter, then lasagne and carbonara mains followed by crumble and vanilla custard and tiramisu, washed down with a bottle of the house white and a few pints. Absolutely delicious as usual. Please Keep it up

Food as usual very good, felt the portions this time were smaller, but a little more expensive, we were upstairs for the first time, felt it did not have the same ambience as downstairs, and the staff seemed to be run of their feet,as far as...More

First time visiting lastnite. Food was splendid, service couldn't be faulted. Reasonably priced but there is also a special menu offering 2 courses for £12 (think it was 3 for 15) for the bargain hunter. Book online for a free drink! Can't wait for the...More

A family favourite for celebration meals and great bar snacks . There is both a formal bistro type restaurant on ground floor and a cafe bar upstairs . You are always assured of a warm welcome from both . The menus are well thought out...More

Impromptu visit. 3 courses and all were absolutely delicious. Service was great and staff very professional and friendly. The fillet steak and pepper sauce was wonderful. Will definitely be back!

Description
It's a family run restaurant with a great team of staff who have been with us for years. This is important to me as I feel customers appreciate having the same staff when they visit; it makes it more personal something that I aim for. My customers are extremely important to me especially with this being a small village it is vital that the customers feel welcome every time they return. We serve traditional Italian food and have a very extensive menu. We have a lunch menu, pre-theatre and of course a la carte. If your looking for somewhere relaxing to enjoy a quiet drink during the day or before and after your meal head upstairs to the bar where we have a variety of continental beers and wines from most regions in Italy, we also sell a selection of hot food, cakes and pastries. The location of Bridge of Weir is an idyllic peaceful village and in the summer our beer garden which is situated upstairs offers wonderful views of the village. We are not looking to turn Amaretto into a brand we want to concentrate on this restaurant and our customers and give something back to the community here. We want to give to give the people of Renfrewshire somewhere they can go anytime of the day and enjoy great food and drink along with great personal service.
