This inn is situated for us half way between Hasting and Beckenham area where we have many contacts therefore ideal place to meet.

We really enjoyed our meal. My wife had Cumberland sausage & I Steak & Kidney pudding. Both were generously sized & tasted delicious! We will return.

Good service and very good value meals. Chips particularly good. Good size meals and served quite quickly despite there being 19 of us. Not requested to, pre-order either!

A very busy lively pub. Food hot, tasty and plenty of it, good menu, with vegetarian options, staff chatty and friendly. The sign of a good pub is when locals eat there. Can not fault.

Good English food with freshly cooked vegetables. Two of us had steak and one the steak pie, a bit of a wait, but worth it, huge portions. We always call in after a long day out, nice atmosphere, friendly service.

Met a friend here for lunch. As the weather was so good we ate outside where there were plenty of tables so cannot comment on the decoration inside. Food was good, lovely relaxed atmosphere, I would certainly return.
