ALL PERFECT !!!
We went to this restaurant for a family dinner, the recently renovated place is very welcoming and with a touch of luxury that never hurts, the historical stone details exposed are splendid.
The dishes are really well prepared and with strong flavours, from the appetizers to the desserts, many raw materials at km 0 and of local origin, processed with respect but enhanced by the experience and freshness of the cuisine.
In the dining room, Mattia and his team know how to welcome and make people feel at ease, praise also for their ability to interact with children.
Prices in line with what they offer and in any case not higher than the average of the offers in the area.

We chose this restaurant, in the center of Spello, following the excellent reviews of other customers which I can only fully confirm. the environment is very refined and elegant; the atmosphere is quiet and romantic with soft music in the background; appetizers we shared an asparagus flan, excellent: the main course was a pork belly, very good and a truly excellent braised bacon; dishes very well prepared and tastefully presented, excellent Montefalco red wine; a very good chocolate dessert; good value for money and in line with the venue; practically perfect! highly recommended

I went on the day of the epiphany with my family.
Very nice and well-kept place, the staff were all very friendly and kind, the girl who served us was very nice.
Varied menu with special dishes made well and very good.

I am happy to review the il Molino restaurant, right from the entrance you immediately notice the attention to detail, crossing the threshold of the room you are enchanted by the structure, elegant, refined, clean and comfortable, the staff is present and prepared, the family management has that touch of Umbrian authenticity.
Excellent food and refined menu with exceptional local products expertly prepared, served and explained by those who know how to make catering their passion as well as a job

I had lunch with some friends from Cattolica, we were very satisfied with the new location, completely renovated, with attention to the smallest details, very professional and expert service, detailed explanation of the dishes served, top quality products. Very careful and detailed presentation of the dishes, prestigious cellar with a huge choice. Quiet place with plenty of space, important for consuming and enjoying meals in peace. Really very satisfied, I highly recommend! I will be back soon!

Exceptional - in all respects.
Note: this restaurant was completely refurbished 6 months ago and is now under new management... And, wow, what a job they've done.
Spello is a favourite place for my wife and I, who now live in Italy and we are always on the lookout for new places to lunch. The interior of the restaurant is stunning, melding original, authentic features with contemporary fittings and furnishings, as only Italians know how (Domiziani ceramics, for example).
Service was attentive without being intrusive, with authoritative advice on dishes and wine. The parmesan crusted egg was outstanding, the tortellini exquisite. Hazlenut crème brûlée was beautifully executed, if a little small (love my puddings!). A limited menu (a good thing), but with enough variation for discerning foodies. Extensive wine list however, they could offer a wider range of wine by the glass, certainly for lunch.
We will certainly be back for dinner - with friends.

The Molino restaurant in Spello is a real experience. The environment is very elegant, but at the same time welcoming and relaxing; this, also thanks to the staff who work there, trained people, but above all attentive to the care of the place, the dishes and the customer. I went to this restaurant for a family lunch, so I was able to taste various dishes on the menu: one better than the other. The tagliolini with white truffle and the tartare are precious. To accompany the dishes we also drank some wine, the choice of which we entrusted to the staff, who didn't make a mistake either. What to say! A fabulous place, in every aspect!!!!

We love Italy and Italian food, having visited numerous towns/cities and restaurants but this has to rank as one of the worst experiences ever. They took absolutely no notice of how my wife wanted her steak cooked and served it rare when she had asked for medium/well done and we could see them warming up various dishes including our vegetables in the microwave. The steak and lamb were both tough as old boots!!! The service matched the food and we were being rushed to finish our starter of cold cuts. Having said that the food wasn’t good we were met with just a shrug!!! There are many better restaurants in Spello and I’d suggest giving this one a miss!!!

I was in Spello last weekend with my wife and daughter and I specifically wanted to return to this place after a few years. The restaurant has recently been renovated with excellent taste and is truly very beautiful, the service is courteous and professional, the menu rightly takes into account the tradition of the area with taste and an excellent combination. Very good quality of food, excellent wine list too. Absolutely recommended.

When Passion, Know-how, the Selection of Raw Materials and Love for one's work come together, you get what Il Molino is able to give to its Customers!
Excellent cuisine that mixes tradition with innovation, the staff is trained and attentive to customers. The owner has selected the foods and the wine list in the most balanced way, which is vast and well-stocked!
Inside, the restaurant appears well-kept, clean and elegant with exposed stone which creates a romantic and intimate atmosphere.
I recommend the tartare, Excellent!
We will definitely be back!

Family of 4, beautiful place, excellent kindness and competence, spent 150 euros.
I definitely won't go back as the prices are high and we left with an empty stomach. We took two glasses (not even 200ml) of Sagrantino, 8 euros per glass, even no.

Vorrei solo invitarla ad essere più precisa e ad argomentare un po’ più la sua recensione , in quanto , così scrivendo , lascia intendere che ha speso € 37.50 ad personam per 2 calici di Sagrantino(uno dei migliori Rossi che abbiamo in regione e che non tutti propongono alla mescita).
Il giorno che Trip advisor pubblicherà solo recensioni verificate ( magari pubblicando lo scontrino fiscale del locale che uno ha frequentato) allora darò attendibilità a tutte le recensioni ( comprese quelle da 5 pallini).
Per quanto ritengo di attendibilitĂ pari allo zero questa piattaforma , consideri che non ho nemmeno rifatto una pagina nuova, ma ho ereditato quella delle gestioni precedenti.
Le rispondo solo ed esclusivamente perché difendo il lavoro mio e (sopratutto) dei miei ragazzi,i quali fanno sforzi importantissimi per cercare di soddisfare tutti i nostri ospiti.
Ricordo a lei e a tutti i futuri ospiti che all’esterno c’è il Menù con i prezzi esposti (obbligatorio per legge) in modo da poter scegliere se un ristorante può essere più o meno caro.
Io non sapendo cosa ha mangiato non posso andare oltre le cose che le ho scritto.

Location very characteristic and elegant, nice atmosphere, great food, but poor portions. Price a bit expensive. It is located in a very nice and cozy village, if you want there are other restaurants at more affordable prices.

We savored the pleasure of invisibility for about an hour and a half, waiting for the usual ritual question for how best to proceed with dinner maybe if possible in the same evening or what our impressions of what we had already tasted.

Excellent lunch at this restaurant located in the main street of Spello. The room is well cared for and elegant, you immediately notice a particular attention to even the smallest details.
The menu follows the same philosophy. Refined and very tasty dishes. Among these, the Tartare and the soft egg in a Parmesan crust stand out among the starters, the tagliolini with white truffle and the half pacchero with Lamb Ragoût among the first courses.
The selection of wines is wide and careful. The managers and the whole team are super prepared and available.
