Came here in the day time for some food and a few beers which was very relaxed then came in a Friday with the rugby on with a great atmosphere. Good selection of beers, food was excellent and staff and locals very friendly!

There seems to be a never ending change in the tenancy of this pub which is one of 3 in Newton village. I personally like the quaint charm and the bar staff are great. I would recommend it.
