Paolino cooks exceptionally well, just trust him when he gives you advice on which pasta to choose or which fish to eat! He is quite a character but a very nice man... Definitely an unforgettable experience for us!

We were greeted to this restaurant by Paolino himself, a big bear of a man with a sunny personality and a great touch with pasta and seafood. Like much on the island, it's a family run place, and on our second visit we were served by Paolino's niece, who was visiting from Australia. Funny to order our dinner in our... More

If you don't like a long walk take a taxi, it's worth it. We couldn't find a place at a recommended place, we saw the sign, 300 meters, ten minutes later 200 meters but we got there. Crowded terrace, Paolino walks around and checks that you are happy and you are. Excellent simple local food at very low cost, enjoy... More

During our weekly holiday we had dinners in various restaurants on Panarea mostly chosen by the scores of Tripadvisor, but this one was absolutely top and best ever! The atmosphere, place, service and what the most important the food was amazingly tasty!! Every plate was delicious cooked with care and love... There was a real taste of traditional aeolian Sicilian... More

Good view (however, a lot of places have a good view). Its a bit of a walk from the main port - need to pay attention in following the signs. Food and wine were good

Are you looking for a simple yet unique trattoria in Panarea? Then a stop over "Da Paolino is a must. Just to be clear, if you are looking for a fancy Italan restaurant with an important wine list, than this is not your place. Meanwhile try the traditional, warm, Sicilian, typical family own trattoria. Kind of like mamma used to... More

We ate here one evening and had a pleasant time. It's a family run establishment and pretty average to be honest. As is often the case in the Mediterranean the women were doing most of the work and the patron chatted up the pretty women. We had to wait for our beautiful fresh fish ( which the chef called out... Though italian food is usually amazing, here it is one of the worst places I have being in Italy so far.

While the location is very nice, this is the classic example of a quaint family-run place gone wrong. We were recommended a home-made antipasto, which turned out was old left-overs and a few tinned olives - a crime in itself in Sicily, with amazing fresh olives readily available from everywhere, even on the island. Before we got our main course,... More

Dingy man recommanded this restaurant and offered water taxi to the shore from the buoy at no charge We've been cheated by the restaurant owner serving old fish capone swering it is todays catch . We are fish eaters and know the taste of the fresh fish. Our... More
