Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The staff are very nice, there is also AC so it’s nice and cool when you go in. I had the brick wall special and salted caramel frappe and I can say it’s the best food I’ve had in Laos and for only 109k Kip...it’s a reasonable price. They also have some small baked goods you can buy and the chocolate donut was very good.More

A lovely cafe in Pakse with the employees all hired from the local area. The menu mentions at the front that they are all part of tribes and that Lao is their 2nd language, and English 3rd and to be patient if they don't understand....We found they spoke very good English and were very friendly. The food was delicious, we shared a BLT, Mexican chicken wrap and falafel pitta bread, followed by a chocolate brownie and Anzac cookies - everything was great and very reasonably priced. A must-visit if you're in Pakse. 5*More

Nice little bakery for breakfast in Pakse! The freshly made bread and croissants were all delicious and the Shakes were truly good. A bit expensive. The staff were very sweet too.

We came here twice and really enjoyed our food. We shared a sandwich and pie in day, split a wrap and burger on the other. Washed them down with juice and coffee - all delicious! There’s a small selection of local weavings for sale with...excellent prices and quality. All proceeds go to the weaver so you’re purchases really help out those in need. It poured during our second visit so the kind owner helped us out with a ride to our hotel. A great place to patronize whenever you’re in Pakse!More

This is a great cafe that is obviously a hangout for tourists and ex-pats. It serves super non-alcoholic drinks, cakes and light meals, We had pumpkin and ginger soup with baguettes, a rye-bread BLT and a chicken and lettuce croissant that were all superb. The...bread is magnificent, a cut above the reasonable baguettes available in many places. The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable. The place is a training program for English, baking and hospitality to make it doubly worthwhile. Highly recommended for late breakfast or lunch if you are craving cakes or western cafe foodMore

Vida Bakery Cafe was a popular stop for brunch and coffee for expats. Nicely air conditioned and with good WiFi, it was a great spot to take an early afternoon break (from the heat and the usual Lao food). They have a good selection of...sandwiches on the menu including the option to build your own, I got a burger which was fantastic.More
