This was recommended by a tour guide in Tobermory. We were seated outside with great view. Very casual and service was great. We had nachos, pizza, Greek salad and poutine. The only reason we rated a 4 is that we found the menu limited in choices. Although we were happy with the quality and quantity of what we ordered. We... More

We once again visited Tobermory and dined at Bootlegger's at The Big Tub Harbor Resort . What I learned that didn't surprise me was this pub was written up several years ago in a book they had on display as one of the Best Pubs in Ontario . My wife got the White fish and I the ribs . Very... More

Having spent Thanksgiving everyone year as a child in Tobermory it was wonderful to revisit this locale. We were greeted warmly as we entered. We took a table on the patio but had to move indoors because of weather. Staff were friendly and efficient. Food was very good. And their draft beer celection was excellent.

This is a small pub tucked away on a side road in a resort. The outdoor multi-level patio offered great views of the inlet and boats going by. Our server was nice and attentive. We had lovely dinners - burger specials, nachos, and good local beer. The view is worth the drive over there.

Dinner in Tobermory, in the high summer season, can be a hit or miss proposition. Line-ups, or worse: the places that sit you down but then can't handle the volume and you are trapped. Bootleggers at Big Tub is one of the best-run establishments...with a professional and cheerful serving staff, and an outstanding location on a good weather day, when... More

My wife and I visited the restaurant on the recommendation of our B&B host. We sat outside on the patio and had a great view of Big Tub Harbour. The deep-fried pickles were delicious and the Greek pizza was extremely tasty. It was big enough that we had enough left over for our packed lunch the next day. The server... More

My friend & I went for drinks and some pub food and were not disappointed. Great beer and wine. Listened to some talented musicians and enjoyed some tasty pub food. Pulled pork was good and so were the wings.

Brought a pile of people to this pub. Got a great view of the harbor, drank really good craft beers, ate delicious bourbon pulled-pork, staff was very friendly, facilities were log-cabin cool and clean. What more could you ask for?

We were staying in Tobermory and looking for somewhere new to eat. Great outdoor eating but more choice in wines would have been appreciated.
