This restaurant and the food were superb. Every meal was so good prepared and cooked I have only praise words for the chefs. Every day something new, sometimes the same but in other ways. Desserts can be better but no hard feelings still overwhelmed. Of all people that served us I must mention Manik. He was very kind, professional and so fast in his job he didn't let us wait for 1 minute he would already be at our table waiting for us to greet and pour water. Everything we asked he brought really fast. We will miss his smile, service and greetings everyday. He is doing amazing job and I wish him all the best.

Very large buffet and varieties of all over the world. Seating capacity is sufficient for 1000 guests. Dishes are delicious and a lots of options to choose. Jabaraj and Siju provided very nice service during our stay. All other staff and chefs are very polite and they are very happy to cater your demands. I enjoyed the live kitchen items and salads very much here. Fruits and salad counters are huge and they provide some home grown items also. I am vegetarian and I found there a lots of Jain foods also. I enjoyed overall ambience and food so much here.

Spent 5 days at this amazing resort. The restaurant had a great variety of food from different countries. What makes a great dining experience besides the food is the staff. I found them to be attentive,caring and always smiling. Our wait staff Purna,mayaad and especially Saurav gave us an amazing experience when dining. the manager Actin works very hard helping his staff. ALI Rasheed a chef was a delight to chat with. Too bad we don't have time to talk about travel and the resort. Amazing people. Was a pleasure to meet them all.

we were seven nights for breakfast, lunch and dinner in the Maaniya Restaurant. There are plenty of choices for everyones taste.
The staff is so friendly, especially one guy named Sadish who worked at the indian corner and always recommended crazy tasty combinations. Thanks to that!!

Maanya Restaurant can be called a 5 star restaurant. My husband and I like to try new things, each meal we could choose something different and try new things from the world. Pasta, seafood, salads, fish, meat. Everyone has found something for themselves. And the desserts ... delicious. Dinner without ice cream didn't exist.
Special thanks go to Mr. Abul who cared for us as if we were his own family. For its service, we preferred to use a restaurant away from our house than to use a restaurant close to us. Thank you very much and we hope to meet again someday.

We visited this restaurant more than 6 and there are a lot of tasty food and cakes!
Furthermore there are a lot of kind waiter and waitress:)
We met a friendly waiter Bodey who always watched our wishes. We talked a lot with him and he is really kind and helpful we can Thank him a lot
And we will be forever grateful For him!!!

We spent our honeymoon on the island. We ate there every breakfast, lunch and dinner. There was many type of delicious food, and many asian food which was very hot and spicy, but we loved it. Our faveorite was the indian Rasam soup. Now I’m trying to find a recipe, to do it on my own :)
We had the most professional waiter during the week, named Babloo!! Thank you to made our stay more comfortable!

This is a great place for breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet. It offers variety of cuisines like Indian, American, Chinese and Continental. The food is amazing. Tasty South Indian food like Dosa, Sambar, Rasam, Rava Upma with variety of chutneys are some times available. Different varieties of salads and dessert will spoil you for choice. It's a must visit place at Sun Island Resort and Spa. The staff are very polite, friendly and helpful. Moreover, one can have beach view while dining.

We spent 10 days in Sun Island Resort and Spa and have all meals at Malaysia restaurant. We had a lot of options to choose from. The food was fresh done,delicious and very beautifuly presented! The whole kitchen team from chef to waiters is splendid! They take great pride if their work, are courteous, happy to help you and make you feel welcomed. I enquire one evening about icecream and next evening they did it! And I felt very special. Thank you wonderful team! And special thanks also to Mihad who take care of us every day with!

The review is about our new friends - Abhie and Jeremy, who are singing almost every evening at the bar close to the restaurant. Both have amazing voices and are so talented, and fill the air around with so much of chill and relaxation, happiness and love. We enjoyed our evenings at the bar a lot listening and singing with them. Guys are always open for requests of the songs and ready to try new ones. We still can’t forget Hallelujah by Jeremy and Halo by Abhie ) so don’t hesitate to ask guys for your favourite songs )
I’m very grateful to Abhie and Jeremy for adding this amazing atmosphere of beautiful voices and music to our vacations at the Sun Island resort!

Best food and service
Excellent food quality. Lots of vegetables and fruits very fresh as coming from the island itself. All tastes covered by the numerous appetizers,main courses and desserts!

The food was good & they had a really good spread for all meals & even for desserts. The staff was very amiable and special mention to Mukul Jaiswal, Sabbir, Arun & Ishahm for their hospitality & service. Overall, we had a good experience at the restaurant.

A wide variety of types of main courses. Seafood. Indian food. International food. Fresh fruits every day. Delicious cakes, cakes. Ice cream. Great restaurant, lots of guests but always comfortable meals.
