We had a lovely Sunday lunch to celebrate my birthday with my son, daughter in law and 3 year old granddaughter. the food was really good and well worth the money. Very relaxed family atmosphere with room to move around.

The Inn is set fairly high in the Pennines in a small hamlet with nice views over the countryside. The food, ordered at the bar, is of a reasonably good standard, and is served with robust northern humour.

We arrived on a Tuesday evening after a very long day on the Pennine Way. The pub is attractive and in a lovely setting and the service was fine. The disappointment was the food, which is distinctly ordinary. My steak came with a fried egg...More

Visited here with relatives for a Sunday Roast Lunch but decided to eat off the main menu. The menu was very extensive and when the food came it was of the highest quality. Staff were very friendly and the parking is easy. Will definitely return
