We have been coming here for more than ten years every summer eating delicious food and drinking delicious wine! Last week we came for the first time in autumn and were greeted once again like old friends by Villiam and Paola! We came for dinner and again for lunch and had (amongst other things) seasonal bruschetta, an autumnal bean stew,... More

Good service, excellent pizza. Mainly tourists. Wine list on the expensive side and did not have good lower cost house wine options.

My wife, another couple and I had the pleasure of dining at Pieve tonight. Our choice was dictated more by default than choice since it was one of the few in the area open Monday night. Lucky for us. It's usually not a good sign when a restaurant is empty and with one other table occupied, we basically had the... More

We ate here twice during our stay at the Suvera. The first meal was lovely, with some gorgeous bread and organic olive oil. Ensalata Del la casa, and Pizza. The second time was less good. I chose a gourmet pizza, that was just not to my taste, It was very wet and soggy. Not sure if that was how it... More

My boyfriend and i went for dinner and decided to take a cooking class the day after. Dinner: food is beautiful and villiam really knows his wine. Just bear in mind they're two in the kitchen and one serving, so service can be slow if there are a lot people. We had really good food, id love to go again.... More

We found this by accident, as you can in Tuscany. The food was amazing, with attentive, friendly service. We went as a family, and sat informally on the terrace but they also have their indoors restaurant finely made up. There are two menus, one more exclusive and the antico Tuscano - we ordered from this and it was delicious. The... More

The restaurant is not only a first class provider of fantastic Tuscan food & wines, they also do cookery lessons. When we asked, in Italian, if the owner (Villiam) speaks English, he replied, in Italian, "a little" - then proceeded to explain the menu, wines & processes in almost flawless English. The food was superb, with a broad selection of... More

Tucked in an out of the way village in Tuscany, this simple spot served great pasta and a wonderful wild boar fillet. The chef even came out after to greet is, and we felt truly like we were a part of the family, after dining outside as the sun set.

This was an amazing dinner in a beautiful Tuscan home. That's what this feels like, home. You are greeted, served and cooked for by family. The food was fresh, plentiful and decidedly farm like. Tomato, cheese, fresh vegetables and amazing wine. Pasta to die for. All served with a smile.

It is more than a restaurant - it is Paola and Viliam. She cooks for us . and, as she said, he cooks for her. Excellent food and very, very good wines ( sorry about that the last bottle of 96! But we loved it ). All the best for you two!
