We fell on this restaurant by accident and are so glad we did. We had the dim sum, papaya salad, hot soup and satay skewers for starters and a green chicken curry and red beef curry for our mains. All were outstandingly tasty and as a Thai novice exciting new flavours. You don't need to be in a hurry but... More

We have eaten at Bhua Luang when it was situated in Archez (up the mountain a bit). The food has travelled well down the mountain to Torre del Mar. The owners continue to produce excellent Thai food, interesting menu and well presented. Great value. Great food. Great place ( Torre del Mar).

It's been a while since we've managed to get back here. It was nice to see some changes to the menu and some rather interesting specials of the day. The people here are very friendly and if not too busy are very chatty, although on this occasion they were rushed off there feet. My wife had the sea bream (dorada)... More

Finally made it back to this restaurant from several years ago. Had a beautiful meal here that stuck in my memory and was delighted to see that not only is it still as good but possibly better! Some really tasty special dishes were on, whole fish with ginger and duck curry stood out as being extra lovely. Instead of pretty-on-a-plate... More

We visited Bhua Luang for the first time whilst traveling along the Costa Del Sol. From the moment we walked into the restaurant we felt at home. A lovely welcome from Chris and Noi began the evening, the house wine recommended was superb and great value for money. I had a spring roll starter with sweet chili sauce, my wife... More

Place to go for authentic home cooked Thai food. They used to bbe just around to corner to us but moved to Torre a few years ago. Shame as it's now a 30 minute drive rather than just around the corner. Well worth the trip tho'. If you like really hot try their Prawn and Cjilli with basil. Absolutely wicked... More

We visited for dinner on a Saturday night, it was very quiet but the owner and his wife were really welcoming. The food was all cooked to order and delicious. I had the pork with ginger and spring onion with fried noodles, delicious. All together a place worth visiting a second time.

While the owners take getting used to (we did; they are very nice), the food is always brilliant. Consistent quality, fresh and beatiful. The Tom Yam Kung/Kai and the Thai basil with chili dishes are great; not adapted to the flat western taste, it is understandable why some people would not like them but they burn the many flavours deep...
