This is the perfect place to hang out! Great service, wonderful historic house and great beer. The food is great but it is best to preorder.

Beautifully restored from an old traditional Home with three levels and water well underneath the restaurant, located in the heart of the old town of Taybeh Near Ramallah. The view is outstanding, overlooking the Jordan river valley, Dead Sea, Jerusalem, Balqa mountains and Amman. The food is very good they serve traditional home style food. Very recommended to visit and... More

Limited menu but everything was great. We visited friends who live next door and this is their local and it didn't disappoint. 2nd year to Gumbet and would recommend this restaurant.

Nice restaurant in the middle of Taybeh, the last Christian village in the West bank. Located in a house, it has a nice balcony with a view to Jordan. The food is traditional Palestinian. The chicken is served on oven baked wheat bread with onions.

Sitting on the terrace of this delightful restaurant you can gaze over to the Dead Sea and the mountains of Jordan. That's a great start but then comes the food. Delicious local specialities, typical of the Palestinian kitchen include excellent humus, salads, taboon bread, and Chicken Musakhan - roasted chicken baked with onions, sumac, allspice, saffron, and fried pine nuts... After a five-hour olive grove, stone quarry, wadi and hills' trek across the countryside near Taybeh, and a quiet tour of the Byzantine-Crusader era St. George's Church ruins in the village, and a tour and tasting half-hour at the Taybeh Brewery, our sweaty six-person group walked into Peter's Place. Up a tight old-town street just past the Latin Church and... More

Great food and the friendly people working there makes this place worth the effort of getting there. The village itself is beautiful and the views from the restaurant are amazing. The place is in an enchanting little building with nice decor and well maintained. They have a nice drinks menu as well.

My friend and I went here on the brewery's recommendation and it did not disappoint. Excellent food with great views over Palestine and the Dead Sea. I would love to go again if I find myself back in Taybeh.

Peter's Place is in a beautifully restored stone house in the old centre of this hilltop Christian village. The views from all areas are fantastic. There are several seating areas with indoor and outdoor seating. Food, drinks and service are stylish and exemplary. There is also a small museum of traditional living which is part of the old house. Don't... More
