We wandered into this place off the main square and were drawn in by the menu. The service was excellent and the food was satisfying. Prices are reasonable also. We'd recommend this for lunch or dinner.

Unusually clean restaurant in Palermo region. Nice and friendly staff happy with children presence. As to the food - local original food, sometimes surprising with taste but still delicious. Nice wines.

No service. A Very long menu, with pasta and a large variety of pizza. Nearly 90% of the dishes weren't available. They took 45 minutes to serve 3 spaghetti with vegetables (which was basically spaghetti with tomato sauce). In the end they wanted us to pay 4,50 € for a "Couvert" (which never came to our table). The typical place... More

First be aware that this restaurant does pizza take away. Secondly avoid Saturday evenings. We arrived 8pm on Saturday after a long trip. There was a queue for the take away and obviously a large party booked in. Shown to small table sandwiched between bar where people order take away and door to where espresso machine is kept. Should have left... More

We were 4 people to have lunch there. First we entered, the smell of the place was the one of a dirty kitchen. Two of us asked for pasta, an two asked for a grilled fish and vegetables plate. First of all the dishes took almost an hour to get ready.. and we were one of 3 tables on the... More

We were recommended this restaurant by our 60year old driver, and we did not get disappointed. Lovely casual service, great food for a good "friend of Giuseppe(the driver)" price

simple but very tasty food. Try the clava turca. It is a very special pizza with openings like some pastry filled with tasty cheese, sausage and herbs

We only stayed for one night as our flight left early from Palermo but what a wonderful stay none the less. Still in possession of the hire car presented a challenge in both parking & negotiating the Monreale streets - we eventually left the car 'down the hill' a bit but in reality it was more of an abandon for... After a whole day of driving from Agrigento to Palermo we decided to spend the night in Monreale. Being out of season the place was very calm at night, but our stomachs weren't. Being in the mood for some more local food in an easy setting we found Locanda Re Ruggero. Inside some table were occupied by tourists, but we... More
