I was staying at Ostello Castello very near this restaurant and was recommended to try. I was greeted by the amazing Anna and made to feel very welcome. It was a warm evening and was able to sit ouside among the locals who were also...very friendly. The menu is a set 5 course and everything was really tasty as was the bottle of house wine from their own vineyard. If you are in the area this place is a MUST!More

We visited this restaurant after reading fantastic reviews on line, and we were not disappointed at all. We had a 5 course meal for €15 euros and the plates were plentiful and extremely delicious. For drinks I sampled a glass of red wine, as I...don't really drink at all, it was honestly the best red wine I have ever tasted, my husband had the homemade apple juice which I tried too and this was also delicious, we had booked a table for the following evening, but unfortunately we didn't make it due to travelling on the Bernina Express train, apologises to the owner Anna for not arriving for our table. Anna is such a wonderful host, cook and wine expert, thank you for such a wonderful time in your restaurant.More

We had aperitivo here which for 5 euros was amazing. Any glass of wine plus a generous plate of meats and bread. The owners were really friendly and made you feel welcome. Go and try a glass of wine there. Very cosy and cute.

We went there to eat small snack and wine and it was just perfetto! Local cheese and wine was amazing. Service just wonderfull. I would say that this is the only place you HAVE TO visit in Tirano.

Just walked for 20min to try, due to ratings. It is a tiny place with a small constrained outdoor area. People outdoors were smoking argh. Spoke to lady at the counter about choice of wine. There is none they only serve there own produce. The...lady I think an owner was short and sharp. We walked don’t bother.More

The Contadi Gasparotti is a great place to sample local style food and wine. We had a red wine that was recommended by Maria Who is the owner of the wine bar, it was the best red we have tried in three and a half...weeks in a Italy. The local dishes use a lot of buckwheat which gives an interesting flavour. Well worth a visit.More

We arrived in the afternoon and settled on the sunny terrace overlooking Tirano and we managed to stay all evening. Not difficult as there are lovely wines to try and a locally sourced and produced degustation menu to accompany the wine. Very reasonably priced and...served with so much love and Italian charme that we'd return in a heartbeat.More
