Unfortunately, because we live in Campello we dont get to visit this superb restaurant as often as we´d like but whether we visit alone or with a group the fantastic food, efficient friendly service and great value for money never disappoints. I doubt there is a better restaurant of it´s type in Spain. The chefs seem to be inspired as they serve up one delicious dish after another. If you haven´t yet given this place a try then do yourself a favour and book soon-you won´t regret it!

Great food

We ate here again this evening and enjoyed every second. The service was friendly, welcoming, attentive and the best I’ve had for some time. The food was absolutely delicious, made fresh to order and whilst we got our usual of chicken tikka and a chicken madras it met our expectations. Free popadoms and pickles, free drinks at the end and a pleasant atmosphere in a beautiful setting

Great tasty food and great value

Due to the current lockdown restrictions there is a set meal option but this was in no way a bad thing. The food was fantastic and very well presented. 3 courses and a complimentary liqueur to end you meal and all this for 15 Euroes. Also had a couple of beers with the meal attentive staff and all food freshly cooked.

Tandoori dishes sometimes chewy

We have been here a few times now and the food is mostly ok, the preparations in the tandoori oven are pretty dry. Chicken and prawns get chewy this way... the naan is nice in combination with the sauce that comes with tandoori dishes.

Brilliant food and service

We visited the restaurant last night and were not disappointed. Various options including a la carte or a set choice menu for around 16 euro per head. Turn the page though and you get the 19.50 euro menu... Any starter and main from anywhere on the menu and also includes rice and naan and Tea / Coffee or ice cream to finish. We had tandoori king prawn starter and prawn poori - both were superb. Main - tandoori mix grill and a lamb tikka - also superb. Attentive, friendly service throughout. Highly recommended and great value for money. I can see why this restaurant is ranked so highly in Altea overall.

Superb food.

I phoned my order and went to pick it up. I got there 20 minutes later and it was all ready for me. I ordered chicken tikka masala, lamb vindaloo, pilau rice, bismati rice, onion bhajis and garlic naan and everything was perfect. The portions were perfect too and it wasn't expensive at all. I asked for the vindaloo to be hot and it was. I cannot fault the food, the portions or the service. I will definitely eat here again.

What a beautiful meal

Just sitting here in Ireland during lockdown. Reminiscing with my partner, and wishing we were back in Altea looking out at the Med eating one of the best meals we have ever had. As two chefs from Ireland we stumbled across this beautiful restaurant last January while returning from a day trip from Calpe. In the midst of all that is going on in the world at the moment, my memories of the wonderful culinary experience we shared here just brought a needed smile to my face. Cant wait until we can travel again and look forward to dining with you again. To the wonderful hostess, thank you for your help in picking Nepalese food, to your wondeful husband Chef thank you and your team for preparing an exceptional and wonderful meal. Hope to see ye all soon when we get back to normal. Take care.

Fabulous find, so pleased we ate here. Staff were very attentive and the huge portions of food was hot and delicious. Can’t fault it. Prices competitive too. Even got a shot of limoncello on the house when we finished our meal.

€22 menu you choose from the starter and main menu. They advised us very well and we who like spicy are not going to complain, if you like it and let us know you will enjoy it. For dessert, I recommend the pistachio ice cream. Thank you!!

First time.

Passed this restaurant hundreds of times ,tried it last night for the first time …..so many of this type of restaurant in the area ,and we tend to stick to favourites ! Absolutely lovely .. ….chose tandoori on the bone chicken ……cooked to perfection, generous , moist and nicely presented , with side dishes of mushrooms , plain rice ,chickpeas and an onion naan .We were asked what level of spice we liked in all the dishes , which I thought was very thoughtful. Free poppadom and relish to start , and a chopito with the bill .Menu del dia available. Polite ,friendly professional service throughout. Recommend.

Never had a bad meal here

Usually the first restaurant I visit upon arrival in Altea. The simple reason for this is because I have never been disappointed and the service is friendly. As an aperitif I had the Mango Sulli, nice and refreshing and for once alcohol-free! My choice for the main course is always the dish with Nepalese curry dishes with coconut Naan bread. Actually, the bread serves as my dessert, because I don't like the mango ice cream 😂. Working point as far as I'm concerned: if the guests ask for tea instead of a dessert, it's a shame that you get a bag of hot water with a regular tea bag. In my opinion, more attention could be paid to this... Friendly staff!

Incredible food

Amazing food, I had the lamb tikka which was incredible and came with a tasty rich sauce. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, we visited with young kids and all the staff were great with them. Reasonably priced too, worth every penny. Will be returning on our next trip to Altea!

Can’t wait to go back again.

We have already eaten here twice during our stay in Altea and really loved it both times. The food is all freshly cooked and extremely tasty, the nan is to die for, and service friendly and helpful. A really good Indian/Nepali menu with quality ingredients and extremely reasonably priced.

Fantastic curry

I ordered my usual; chicken tikka, chicken madras and keema rice. Must have had it 100 times, so know a good one when I see it. The tikka was excellent and came on an old school sizzling skillet. Madras was tasty and perfectly spiced. The popadoms and chutneys were lovely. Without doubt the nicest curry I’ve had outside of the UK and will certainly rival your favorite local haunt.

Dinner inside at 4 friends

First time but last one. Friendly services but food are not great at all. The menu are way too extended so everything can’t be perfect. I expect more we were all disappointed was my choice I feel bad for making a mistake. Maybe we try one more time at lunch outside when the weather will be warmer. We see if I can actually change my mind and give nice review next time.
