Decided to stop and have a drink not knowing what it would be like. We opted for a beer and a red wine with meatballs, sardines and patatas bravas. The red wine was excellent as was the food. Could definitely recommend.

Love to visit this place every time we are in Altea, perfect setting sit outside and chill out while enjoying good beer/wine and a tapas with every drink. What more can you ask for. Love it.

Very friendly well run tapas bar. Not expensive and endless tasty tapas with every drink. We had pintas, canas and cavas brought us the bar owner and his excellent waitress. Sat outside in the sun or if the weather was not so good in the bar with a very local non tourist trade. BRAVO!

Last week I went first just for a drink and the a few days later for lunch. I assume that the couple are the owners and you feel welcome and well attended. The food is fresh and homemade - not de-frozen. Prices very reasonable.

Visited here a number of times whilst staying in Altea. Its a real gem - friendly, authentically Spanish, popular with locals, ex-pats and holidaymakers. Good food, friendly service & inexpensive. Best seats either on the pavement or at the stools with barrel tables near the entrance door. Great vodka tonicas!!

Small almost-beach-bar. Located in first line of lovely village of Altea, serving mostly drinks and nice tapas. Have Not tried the new restaurant style menu, but small bits and bites are (mostly) worth to return.

Visited here quite a few times during our visit, I cannot fault the service. The owner is a very friendly gentleman with good English, the wine was very good, and my husband said the beer was nice ( which was a bonus as he normally moans about the beer!!! ) To top it off you get a free tapa with... As a family we always enjoy tapas at lunchtime. We went today and ordered drinks which came with a tapa on the house for each drink. We then ordered our lunch which was excellent. Sometimes tapas are microwaved, here they were all freshly prepared and the best we have had in the Altea area and we have been coming to... More

We were served promptly. The lady had enough English for us to muddle through with her. She tried and we tried Spanish. Tapas for free to start. Nice to try different foods. The meals were tasty, big and cheap. Good selection of drinks, both alcoholic and non. The restaurant owner was lovely. He works really hard too. One of our... More

Went for a walk along the front at Altea with my wife and kids. I had my eye on the place after reading the reviews. Nice atmosphere; lots of locals; good price for vino tinto and other beverages; the free tapas are nice: not to fancy (I like the egg with pink peppercorns). Can't comment on the main menu but...
