I'm so glad that a friend suggested this place to us. It had the best food I had eaten all week! The service was great too, and the prices reasonable for the North. Sadly, they had notices up that they are closing forever and retiring. I'm glad I caught them before they were gone!

We had dinner here several times last week and found the food to be great! Tasty and with Asian dishes as well. Try the Bison burger!!! Very friendly staff with many locals and business travelers as well (always a good sign). Short walk from the post office and power plant (local landmarks). Find the wolf on a post, you found... I ate at the Wild Wolf in December/2015. The place was clean. I ordered chicken fingers with a poutine and a can of pop which cost me $28 plus tip. When I was done eating, I had to wait like 15 mins for the waitress to come by to ask for a bill. I'm not sure how many people were... More

My stay in Rankin Inlet brought me to the Wild Wolf Cafe. This cafe is great. The service was friendly. Food was awesome. I had the Wild Wolf Burger (2 patties, pickle, bacon). The burger was homemade. Just delicious. On another visit had the beef stir fry. If you find yourself in Rankin. Wild Wolf Cafe is a must visit... More

My wife and I went there and we were kicked out because they fooled up my order and I wanted to talk to the manager. He was rude and had a poor attitude. I stated that I didn't want the sandwich because it was not the right ingredients as the menu stated and the lettuce and tomato were spoiled. I... More

The place is fine. Not fancy but the food is decent and the quantity sufficient. Closes at 7:00 pm so get there early for dinner. No alcohol but that's normal for Nunavut. Prices are the usual astronomical but not out of line. View of abandoned vehicles and shipping containers A recommend largely because there is nothing better.

I had a nice bison burger at the Wild Wolf but I'm disappointed that they don't have any country food on the menu. As a visitor, I would love to see caribou stew on the menu.
