This is something a bit "different" than a lot of restaurants along the road. The food is good and the menu is extensive so everyone will find something they enjoy! Reasonably priced as well. Definitely feels like a true diner! Highly recommend the milkshakes!

This place has become a firm favourite of mine. The quality of the food is never less than good, the service is friendly and relatively quick (depends a bit on number of diners at any one time), the seating lay-out is varied and not cramped...-- and you can easily see that the place is popular! Good carpark, and nice location by a small lake, with some fine mountain views. Always well worth your while stopping here :-)More

This restaurant is just by the E39, the road that goes til Bergen If you are traveling from Stavanger. I totally recommend the stop here ! Burger E39 is a must, I also tried entrecote and It was good but I still prefer the burger....Also the finger food (nuggets, french fries) are tasty.. And at last but not least, desserts !! Sundae ice cream is my favourite. Good-looking food and milkshakes/desserts in a place that looks good itself: A school bus "crushed" against the building and an american style in the decoration. And If you like cars, you can see old&nice cars parked in the parking place very often. One of my favourites in Bergen !!More

My wife and visited here last night and were genuinely surprised at the quality of the food here. It has an authentic American diner feel. I honestly had one of the best burgers of my life here......try the E39 burger with blue cheese! :)

This was somewhat of a surprise, a classic American 50's styled diner in what seems in the middle of nowhere! The atmosphere is cozy and inviting with a big, bright yellow school bus directly imported from USA implemented in one of the outer walls as...a section to dine in. Complete with booths and condiment baskets on the tables. Staff is very friendly and helpful if you have any questions about the food or the place. Everything is nice and clean, and with a great taste of decorations. Elvis and Marilyn show you the WC, just past the jukebox! The food is fantastic! The menu consists mostly of classical diner items like babyback ribs, burgers and fries but also some great local varieties like reindeer patties and fresh fish. Servings are generous and very well prepared, great value for money. On Fridays they serve steak and potatoes with super delicious tasty sundae for dessert, this is a must if you are ever in the area on a Friday! PS: They even sometime arrange good old fashioned outdoor-cinema complete with car door serving ;)More

Very good food, majority of dishes are American, but you do get a few Norwegian dishes as well. All the different hamburgers we have tried have been excellent. The entrecote is always a safe choice. American Diner inspired decor, it feels as if you step...into a diner in Memphis. Elvis on the wall, picture of Sun Studio... If you want, you can dine inside a real American school bus...It can get quite busy over the weekends, so unless you make reservation you might have to wait for a table.More

Great American diner on the road south bound from Bergen to Os. Genuine good food and smiling welcomming staff. Great pitstop for a snack or full dinner!
