From the very beginning it is known as a tourist spot for the egg tart. Actually Macau egg tart is somewhat a variation to HK version which is indeed better. Anyway, it is an honest shop which does not overcharge despite it could. for a spending of a few dollars and taking the chance to walk around the coloane area... More

A visit to Macau is not complete without eating Portuguese tarts. In my opinion, the tart is slightly over priced (9 MOP each), but anything touristy is often over priced. It is still worth a visit!

Perfect if sugar could be reduced as too sweet to eat more than one piece. Really flaky and still taste good when eaten cold.

This is a "must eat" in Macao. It is an egg tart plus crème brulee. It is very rich and has a nice crispy, sugary topping. I had to eat 2 plus ordered their coffee.

One of the most popular place that sells Macau famous egg tarts. Bit far coming from Macau side, but worth it.

At first bite, yes it tastes pretty decent. However, that gets old fast as it will soon become clear that the egg tart is overly saturated with sweetness and grease. I've had similar egg tarts at other places and what sets this one apart from the others is the type of grease used. Yes, it's more flavorful but once you... More

Freshly baked Egg tarts - Got a Dozen here and its cheaper then their Outlet inside the Venetian. Not much to say, its a must have while visiting Macau. Perfect crispy crust and just the right amount of sweetness in the custard inside.

With its strong portuguese influence, Lord Stows Bakery is the original Portuguese egg tart, known well all around Macau. One this trip to Hong Kong, we tried many Egg Tarts in various places, but Lord Stows is definitely one of the best. Light flaky pastry, warm and custard-y is all that describes this delicate little treat. We were fortunate to... More

Never give this a miss - the Tarts I mean. We had one each day of our visit! Although you can find Portuguese Custard Tarts all over Macau, we only eat the ones from Lord Stows Bakery. This is the original place it started. Easily sighted at the little town centre. Accessible by buses from city centre and the Cotai... More
