Third time in Puerto the Mogan, why haven't we been eating here before? After days with buffet (which was good) this was heaven: Cold tomatosoup when we arrived. Starters: Grilled scallops with corn mousse, guacamole, macadamia and quince + roast prawns with cream of carrot, pineapple, leeks and pink pepper sauce. Main course for both: Marget of duck with red... More

Somewhat experimental, very delicate, exquisite. The ten dishes where varied, everything was real craftsmanship from the chefs, and beautifully presented. We had some special requirements, which the kitchen and staff handled superbly. Elegant, skilled staff. Costs a little, but it's totally worth it. There are several good restaurants in town, but this is something different.

We have walked past this restaurant on previous trips to Mogan but this year my husband said why don't we take a closer look and book it for our last night. Having made our reservation the previous night I realised that the menu was set (10 items in total, the first 2 to 3 items I'd describe as canapes or... More

When I went to Qué tal the food was amazing. And the service was exceptional. You wouldn't stumble across Qué tal because it's on a small road. It's not a normal sort of fine dining restaurant which is good. You have to book in advance. And the best way to put it is you don't know what your getting until... More

Our second visit to this place was again a very good experience. The food is very good - the wine menu served with a good loose hand is very appropriate for the various dishes - and the show with the preparation, presentation and serving we have not seen better anywhere. Not least the lobster trio has an outstanding quality -... More

This was so much fun! We've travelled around the island looking for the very best restaurant, and this is clearly one of the very best. The concept is fun and different. Having had tastingmenues in a few countries, I liked the way they included everyone and divided the restaurant into a dining area and a place the finished the plates.... More

A recent writer has given a wonderful description of the food we also ate just over a week ago. Until then I thought the only great place to eat was L'Aquarela. I've walked past Que Tal but never been prompted to book. It is suitably low key from the outside but it transforms into a fabulous intimate restaurant in the... More

Que Tal is a really intimate place where you sit close together, but it's very tastefully decorated and has a very good vibe; it's a place you like to be in. It's a reservation-only, set dinner service with a set menu and complementary wines, but it's so worth giving in to these "constraints". The food is absolutely amazing; ambitious and... More

Having visited the Morgan region of Gran Canaria three times in the last 14 months I have been generally impressed with the quality restaurants you can find with a little bit of research; lovely fish restaurants, quaint Italian's in Puerto Rico/Mogan and a beautiful meal by poolside at Aquarelle. So far this trip though, everything had been good but nothing... More
