Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Overall this was pretty good with a nice spot on the Calle de la Virgin. The service was attentive and the food was good though the starter we had probably represented better value for money and was tastier than my main pasta dish. Would likely...return if I came back in future.More

Beautiful place to eat. Lovely setting and even more lovely people. The food is fantastic - we had burratta, truffle pasta & tuna tataki. A must visit for Ibiza!!

Unfortunately being asked to leave because a large group turned up wanting a table is not acceptable, the waiter and waitress couldn’t care less and halve the tapas menu was not available, I will not return and certainly wouldn’t recommend this restaurant. Very poor.

Small portions. Poor service. Overpriced. Atmosphere not particularly great either. There are better places nearby

Food was excellent, a bit different selection than everywhere else. The waiters were nice and attentive, the atmosphere was eclectic. The kids loved all the clocks in the toilet. The dad enjoyed all the fans in the adjacent store.

We had a wonderful dinner. Delicious food and very friendly and helpful staff. Even though the restaurant is located in teh street with a lot of foot traffic it still manages to have a very cozy atmosphere.

This restaurant is tucked away in a beautiful alley, away from cars and the packed streets of the old town. The ambience of this alley way is so warm and cozy, also a lot quieter than the other streets. The restaurant is very rustic and...the chefs and staff are Italian giving it an authentic feel. The food was delicious and the menu had quite a lot of creativity put into it. Some classic dishes, like Salmon tartare had been reinvented or jazzed up slightly with different sauces and dresssings. The burrata was amazing. This was one of the best meals I had on the Island. The service was really friendly and welcoming. I definitely recommend a visit to this place.More

I absolutely LOVE this place! It was my first trip to Ibiza and I was travelling solo, I stumbled across this place on my first evening and the food was so amazing that I went back another three times! Their pasta is delicious - I...had the pesto prawns twice! I particularly love the atmosphere at this place, the music was chilled and it’s down a very cute cobble road - you can sit and people watch as you eat your food! The company was just as brilliant - the staff are so friendly and warm, they made me feel very welcome each time I went. I felt like I made some friends there and I’m looking forward to returning again next year!More

Sorry to say this (and it is actually the first negative review I have ever posted) but Es Passadis is not a real italian restaurant but instead a touristic restaurantthat is taking advantage of its great location! Yes it may be serving Italian food and...Yes maybe all the staff including chefs and su-chefs are Italians but please note that I am talking from my heart being married to an Italian for years and having travelled to all little corners of Italy (plus all the other italian restaurants overseas and abroad). Disappointing. I have had the opportunity to physically be on El Passadis with my Italian wife on an early table (8ish is early for Ibiza). We ordered Gnocchi Ragù, Risotto with Gorgonzola and starters. The starters I could say there were OK. However when the main plates were served I felt that I was eating something that came out of a tin... i.e. the Ragù even had carrots cut into cubes (something that you traditionally see in industrial Ragù that comes out of a vase) . Furthermore, the Risotto was not even a risotto but instead a arroz caldoso (a traditional spanish plate) with a Gorgonzola on the top of it. When I asked the other person eating with me, the answer was the same..."let's pay and go please". I have tried out the Italian cuisine in a number of places like Taurmina, Catania, Punta Seca, Naples, Milano, Como, Roma, Bari, etc. and have also eaten out extensively to Italian restaurants and I can guarantee you that Es Passadis is definitely not a real italian restaurant but instead a touristic restaurant which takes advantage of its privileged locations to sell average food. Anyway, it might only have happened to us and not to everybody so I am expressing here my opinion and I let you decide for yourselves.More

Ops, you did it again!? Wasn't it enough to throw mud once on honest workers and cooks who spend hours and hours in the kitchen preparing - ingredient after ingredient - the dishes we serve ?? On the second time (you canceled and re-posted after...More

Definitely a hidden gem - i don't think we would have found this restaurant without the trip advisor reviews. We went all out truffle at this restaurant, mainly eating off their special boards. We had the truffle beef tartare to share - which im glad...we did as it was humungous (but great), followed by the truffle spaghetti. We also had a lovely bottle of Ribera. The staff were nice but not as friendly as we had experienced at other restaurants on our two week holiday.More
