As usual, it was a good place to go with family and friends. The meals are great and the price is very fair. Good quality and well served.

After reading several non complimentry reviews about this restaurant. i felt i had to say that i have eaten there four times in the last month. With friends visiting from England. The food and service were excellant.A huge steak on the stone for €14. Also a...huge selection of fish and meat on the menu.More

I visit Vila real every every year. However we had never eaten here. Our restaurant of choice was closed so we went here on recommendation. The staff weren’t overly attentive and the food was OK. There was nothing wrong with this restaurant but for me...personally there are plenty more better restaurants to choose from in Vila real .More

We had a few good memories about this restaurant from our earlier visits to Vila Real de Santo António. Unfortunately, lately it has been downhill only. The long waiting time for a table was only the beginning of the bad experience. The staff was not...friendly at all and very unhelpful. It took them ages to register our order and then even more time to get it ready (we had to ask for our food again). The food quality was borderline and the portions weren't that big, so no value for money. Finally, the room was so noisy we couldn't even have a chat, which is the point of a family meal. I am afraid that I can't recommend this place by any means. I believe the management needs to revise their strategy and they need to think about improving their quality control and standards.More

After asking if the rice cook was with fresh seafood or frozen and the waiters confirmed it was fresh seafood, we got disappointed with a terrible rice with a few frozen clamshells and small shrimps (I understood later he meant fresh from the frozen, lol)....The rice sauce felt like it was made with instantaneous powder. For the 35 euros dish, it could be more well made. I’m not trying it again here.More

Food ok but the two male waiters that initially dealt with us need a few lessons in customer service and politeness. Wouldn’t revisit for that reason only.

An attractive restaurant and the food is good and well-priced. It was slightly chaotic on my visit as the restaurant was catering for a large number of young children and their families who were attending a major junior football competition. In spite of the numbers...the staff had to cater for the food was well cooked and tasty.More

we went there recently for seafood, and had arroz de lingueirão which was great, we loved the food despite the slow service and lack of attention to clients as the restaurant seems to have shortage of staff. As we enjoyed our first meal there we...went again, however we did not choe the same dishes... the choco jrdineira was tasteless and the bacalhau à braz was not ok at all because it was tasteless and extremely dry, only the tuna was good. but the service was even slowlier and we had to wait three hours to finish dinner and staff was not paying attention to clients as they seemed all overworked. I do not think it is their fault, but a few more attending the tables would make the difference.More
