LOVE the grape tree cafe. We were on the Island for a week and went once or even twice a day while the cafe was open. The woman who does the serving is so sweet. Don't miss this one!

We ate here while staying at Turtle Nest next door. It is right on the beach. They have chicken fingers and fish. It is very popular with the locals. You can take out or eat on tables at the beach. Open on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

My husband enjoys this place as he loves the fresh fish. Very popular with the locals as well. Only open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Eat outside at picnic tables or take out.

We ordered the red snapper as recommended by people in line. It is fried but not like we are used to in the US, whole fish with a very light breading - it is wonderful. Comes with fritters, cassava and plantains with pickled onions. They ran out of prepared snapper so we waited while they fried some up and had... More

This is a casual fish shack right on the Beach in Bodden Town. I ordered whole fried snapper with fritters, cassava and plantain. Very good fresh fish and especially loved the fritters and cassava. The lady running the kitchen was very nice and told me how she prepares her cassava and gave me some of her homemade pickled onions and... More

Basically a carry out joint with limited seating. We each ordered a fish dinner which was very tasty and interesting to watch the process of the food being prepared. An authentic Cayman experience. Located only a few steps from where we were staying at the Turtle Nest Inn.

The Grape Tree is a beach shack cooking out standing food. Very rustic, and no frills. You get a great meal for a low cost, and something that's hard to find in Cayman. This is NOT upscale dining. You get your food and eat it at picnic tables right on the beach. Wonderful.

I gave my friend a ride to work at Kaibo north side and stopped on my way back to pickup what I consider the best fish on island. Heritage Kitchen makes a better fish meal but just the fish at Grape Tree is over the top tasty. Fried with flavor to the perfect texture and covered with cayman style pickled... More
