We stayed in Germignaga two weeks and visited the restaurant twice. Both times for lunch and both without having a reservation. The service is great (lovely to be able to speak English) as is the food. Guidance on which wine to choose is precise and...very good! We’ll definitely be back again.More

It’s... “OK”

Your meal will be fine, nothing out of the ordinary. We had the set dinner menu with wine at €50 per person. Pasta was a bit salty and seemed to have something added which masked the flavors of the mushrooms. Service, was at times, inattentive...- red wine pairing served as we were nearly finished with our meat dish. Desserts were quite delicious. Overall, not a bad experience, but we’ve enjoyed much better in Italy at comparable, or even lower prices.More

Great food

We stopped by for lunch and it will definitely not be the last time! Our kids and my husband had pasta and I had a great risotto.

Excellent little restaurant in the small town

Wonderful restaurant in the sleepy town of Bedero. Cosy courtyard setting behind the entrance that doesn’t look like much. Food was best in class with good wines and super services. Well worth a visit - we will surely come again.

Family celebration

Celebrated my sister's 50th here whilst staying in Brezzo end of May. We'd booked a table for 10 and received a very warm welcome. Food was fabulous and the staff were friendly and very helpful. We were seated in the courtyard which was delightful and...buzzing with chat from the locals. Next day we ordered takeaway pizzas which were equally delicious. Thank you all for a great time.More

Fantastic evening again and again

Being now three evenings here at al cotilertto in Brezzo di Bedero and must say fantastic. On Saturdays you have a worm wellcome in "cantina" as an aperetif. Always a good occation to talk with Andrea about the wines and enjoy with plenty of guests...the splendided wines. Had a delicious mushrooms dishes. A place to be. Kind regards, HeidiMore

A little gem in the foothills near Lago Maggiore

The restaurant is now run by a delightful young couple, Andrea and Marina who go out of their way to make you welcome. Andrea speaks good English and the other staff though not fluent, try hard. Seating is inside or in a large sheltered courtyard....The menu is inventive but you can select from a large range of pizzas as well. The wine list is varied and not overpriced. Service was quick and efficient. We had dinner there twice in 3 days and enjoyed both meals. My wife wanted some simple pasta prepared with oil and garlic the second night and that was not trouble at all.More

Lovely local and made an effort for vegans

We were pleasantly surprised by this local restaurant close to our rental apartment. Lovely courtyard setting, very accommodating staff and made an effort to make us great vegan dishes despite it being mainly a meat based restaurant. We had a lovely evening and it was...very good valueMore

Lunch Time Set Menu

The Restaurant is no longer under the Ownership of Romani Giuliano, it is now owned by a Wonderful couple, the menu gives a great selection of Pizzas and a selection of other dishes, Starters, Pasta, Fish, Meat, really presented in an appetising way, a great...selection of wines, every Saturday there is a wine tasting session in the cellar. I recommend this Restaurant; you must call for reservation especially in the Summer Period. Enjoy.More
