Hi everyone, what can I tell you, it’s a beautiful location and has views to die for but don’t expect to eat or drink at this restaurant? Wait staff score - 0/10 so bad that we gave up after being ignored for 30 minutes and...joined the que of people leaving in droves. On the good side of things I am sure this place will be bankrupt soon and maybe get taken over by someone else. The waiters can then maybe find their true vocation collecting their unemployment. Can only say don’t go if your hungry or thirsty or want served this side of never. NB if you own this place sack your wait staff and save your business.More

Awful food, not tasty at all. Slow service. Long time to wait. Unfriendly staff would not recommend to eat here under no circumstances.

We chose this restaurant based on fairly good traveler reviews and were extremely disappointed. Staff were disinterested and gave poor service even though the restaurant was not so busy. One out of 5 dishes was quite good (fruit with goat’s cheese). Other dishes were overcooked,...unappealing and not so palatable. The ‘cortado’ coffees were large mugs of coffee with milk (watery ‘Americano’ type coffee). Overall a terrible lunch in a hot area with lots of flies.More

The place, the food quality, the size of the dishes, the service, the staff, the views.... everything is excellent! And the desserts are even better. This was our second time there, we were 12 people in total so they separated us in 2 big tables...with superb views. All dished we ordered were great, the waiter was more than kind... we did not have to wait long for anything... Undoubtedly we will go back when we visit the area again....More

We were waiting for 40 minutes to be served and paella was undercooked wen it’s arrived and looked like slop at which point swarm of flies invaded our table and food which made it impossible to eat. At this point we asked to take food...away, stuff bright us a box, so we had to pack food by ourselves. Terrible food and terrible service. Views are good though.More

I came to this place with my family after hiking in the Caminito del Rey. The place is amazing! They serve really delicious local food and a very reasonable price. You have to be careful with the size of the dishes, though. They are huge!...This is typical in the towns all over the mountains of Spain. Restaurants serve huge dishes. If you are not very hungry, better share a dish! I specially liked the fried "lomo". This is a typical dish in Malaga, and normally is quite dry. However, the one they make in this place is so yummy! I ordered the pork elbow. It was delicious! The views from the restaurant are very beautiful. You can see the entire lake from there. I recommend coming to this place after your visit to the Caminito del Rey.More

The restaurant is situated in a lovely spot with fantastic views. I took my family here today as we were hungry after a day by the lake. Unfortunately the food is terrible. The paella is the worst I have every tasted, and full of salt....My wife and my oldest son had some lamb chaps, just stomach wrenching. Even the vine is bad. It’s not the cheapest place or best service either. I recommend coming here only for a coffee or a cold drink and take in the views. Stay away from the food! Our tummies are making funny sounds as I write this...More

Quite expensive (but you are paying for the view) as they only do full meals and no tapas, rolls etc. The service is quite fast and professional and the food was reasonably but expensive.

Awful experience, really don’t recommend going. I went with my friend because it was the only restaurant nearby the “El Chorro” lake, we asked the waiter to attend us 3 times. The food was horrible, my stomach was hurting the whole day afterwards. Juat go...to have some drinks and thats it. The 1 star is for the view: the view indeed is beautiful.More

Parked near this restaurant to walk the Camenito Del Rey. After finishing, my daughter and I enjoyed a couple of beers and appetizers at the restaurant. Great views, good food, friendly staff. When leaving, our rental car would not start (dead battery). Went back to...the restaurant and spoke with one of the staff, who was nice enough to get his brother to make a 20 km round trip to bring jumper cables so we could be on our way. Nothing to be gained by these kind people, except our extreme gratitude. Thank you El Marador!!!More
