this is one of those restaurants that does not feel like leaving a review... we should just keep the secret to ourselves, friends and family; most customers are regular and local, the restaurant has an excellent service, fantastic food and everything is cooked right there,...from the starters to the desert! Divine starters by the way, the recommended wine was up to par, the main were delicious and the typical desserts to cry for more...More

Expect to pay around 25€/person. The food is very good with a good selection of local cuisine. Plenty of tasty entrees to get you started on table as soon as you sit down, but there are more to choose from the menu. We had eels,...one of the several codfish dishes, and "cabrito" (no idea how to translate this, but it's goat meat). Food portions are big so be careful when ordering. Prices will look something like this 24.00€/12.00€ which translates into 24€ if it's a portion for two or 12€ if it's an individual portion and even individual portions are big. We had one of the locally made desserts which had a peculiar name I can't remember. It was made of a little bit of several desserts they have with a lemon sorbet scoop at the bottom to cut how sweet it is. Highly recommended.More

I came here because it was a fathers friend restaurant. They became kind of famous after a viral video my friend uploaded to YouTube. Unfortunately the price and quality of the food don’t match. There’s much better options well priced for this type of food.

Interesting decor and very Portuguese. Starters will be delivered regardless and the staff will advise what they are and take away anything that you don't want. Easy to choose a lot as they were varied. We had octopus salad, melon and prosciutto, cheese and honey/jam...and tuna pate. Good portions for the mains, all tasty and with rice, potatoes and veg. Freshly cooked mini pastel do Nate were absolutely delicious. Very full by the time we left and excellent value at €25 per head for 3 courses and drinks. We were there early so didn't have to book but the place filled out at about 8:30 so booking probably necessary for later tables. Friendly and attentive staff, worth seeking out.More

The traditional sausages are the best ever! Had them as a starter along with cheese ane bread, and could have kept on eating those for the entire meal (they were that good!)

Had dinner at the Adega do Albertino and I was very impressed with the flavour and dishes. Absolutely delicious Portuguese seafood. Hopefully I will be back one day!

A 1.5 hour wait where there's 3 tables free and the waiter just says "don't ask me how long until your seated ". Pathetic attendance...

Excellent Menu, with plenty of delicious local dishes. Careful when ordering, servings are of such large, generous and succulent portions, impossible to eat all ... because for Starters (without ordering) they keep on bringing the most diversified amazing selection small portions (Portuguese tapas) you have...ever seen and tasted ( about twenty in all). After these easy bites, believe me ... you do not need a main dish. Very dedicated, friendly and professional staff. A place hidden away just outside C. da Rainha and not to be missed . Highly recommended.More

Amazing restaurant. Great good and gentle service. Everything we’ve eaten was simply delicious, from starters, main dishes to deserts. The home made ginjinha was just one of a kind. A place to return for sure.
