I’m going to write this review in English due to the fact that I haven’t seen many reviews about this restaurant but I could just as easily write it in Portuguese. This might help out the tourists in my opinion (and I believe some of...the staff speaks more English than Portuguese as well so win win) Me and my husband had a date night away from the kids and we wanted sushi. Knowing that Caldas isn’t known as a hip sushi town we still pressed on with the ideia.. glad we did! We felt our waitress was quite helpful since she suggested and entree that was fantastic and was added to our initial picks. The drinks were also a suggestion made by her and were fabulous. The sushi combo platter we had was fresh and very appealing to the eye as well. I can’t stress enough that the eyes pull at the taste buds and the plates were eye candy! At the moment due to the Covid pandemic, I would advise to reserve or do take away because seating is limited and there’s no outdoor eating area. Best wishes to the Kabuki staff.More
I guess you know if you like sushi. This restaurant is superb .Great service , fresh , very fresh food , presented superbly. Huge selection . Good value wine and whilst its not bargain Portuguese prices , as a treat its really good. Book. We...were lucky someone was prepared to share some table space .More
Very cosy place, nice And super friendly service! Great fresh and very tastefull food but .. not enough :(! We took the plate of 50 pieces of sushi/sashimi.. but the portions where very small! Budget-Quality of food ✅ Budget-quantity of food❌
Unfriendly service. Asked for kids just simple rolls with avocado or with cucumber waiter arrogant asked: "sushi without fish!?". Then probably noticed, that menu list included some vegetarian options suggested to take some complicated, overloaded rolls with fruits (what a horrible trend to make sushis...with mango and strawberries...). He looked visible annoyed, so I did not insist to ask in the kitchen to do for kids just simple avocado/ cucumber rolls. Convinced my kids to take first some tempura, miso soup, goyoza and nudels. And just little of sushis, so that they ate something and the sushi part is more like fancy experiment. At the end we were waiting and waiting... and sushis simple never came. Inbetween service brought third tempura (we ordered and ate by this time 2 already) and with visible pissed face tried to leave the tempura on the table starting discuss with me what I already ate and not... which made me by this point of time wanting just run away. Not a restaurant for traditional, not overloaded with strange stuff sushis. Not flexible enough service/ kitchen to do for customers something that easy like simplest sushi rolls just with cucumber or avocado. And even kids which not even speak and understand enough Portuguese noticed and asked me, why the waiters in the restaurant are so unfriendly. Never again.More

Fantastic sushi, beautifully presented, service is attentive but give you the space and freedom to enjoy your food slowly. Prepared on the spot and wonderfully fresh ingredients
Great sushi and very friendly service. The ingredients are very fresh and the prices are reasonable. I can recommend the combination platters (see image 2), brilliant choice if you don’t know what to choose. I’ll definitely be back here.
Good standard sushi served up at reasonable prices as well as lovely tempura and noodle dishes. Good but short choice of wines and a most delightful young lady serving at the tables. Love it !
