My wife and I had a mid-day meal here, my wife had fish, chip & peas I had Ham, egg & chips. I should have read the menu properly as the chips were those awful "chunky" things, which I guess you either love or hate, I hate, and not cheap. The menu said they were "Thrice" cooked, what on earth... More

Hi Thanks for the review, sorry to here about your lunch. Your right the building was cold and we have simply tweaked the radiators to bring the temperature up. Thrice cooked chips as in cooked 3 times. We use Maris Piper potatoes in the winter for our chips. For us to get chips that are Gluten Free (GF) you have... More

Absolutely brilliant. It's never easy to cater to such a large group, especially when everyone is so different, what with vegetarians, vegans and carnivores. Kelways did an outstanding job at catering to everyone at our works Christmas party. The food was well presented, and delicious. The waiting staff went above and beyond to ensure that everyone had a great night,... More

Great food, lovely building but the pool table has been inexplicably moved from the lifeless back room into the formerly lovely lounge area, completely changing the dynamic and atmosphere (for the worse) Shame.

Hi, Thanks for the review. Juggling the pubs feel and subsidently the atmosphere appears to be a minefield which we are trying to tip toe through. Should we be more "eaty" as it were or more pub, or a bit of both?? It does mean that we now have a separate dinning area where the pool table used to be... More

Very friendly staff, ensuring a warm welcome. Nice old bar, flag floors stone pillars and lots of natural wood, the tables are nicely spaced out so you don't feel crowded or that you are sharing other tables conversation. Nice big woodburner gives a cozy feel. Anyway down to the important thing, the menu is varied with a good vegetarian section... More

Went to eat on a Thursday evening with a friend having had two previous excellent experiences (one a Sunday lunch which was lovely). The meal didn't disappoint, sardines in a tempura batter followed by scallops which were 'to die for'. As on previous occasions Justin's welcome made us feel really relaxed and nothing was too much trouble. Can't recommend this... More

We had booked a table for 7.30. We had to wait for an hour for our order to be taken. The food was good but we waited a long time to have our plates cleared and we had to chase 3 times for the dessert menu. One of my friends had left her bank card behind the bar which staff... More

We're on holiday not far from Langport and were looking for somewhere for an early evening meal after our day out. So pleased we came across the Kelways Inn. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to make our little boy something he loved that wasn't on the menu. My husband enjoyed fish and chips and commented... More
