So glad we found time to pop in for a meal. Lovely friendly staff,food was excellent and partner said the chips were the best she's ever had. Just wish it was our local!!

This place is worth a visit. Great food, good ale and excellent service. We were in the area for a very relaxing holiday and ate here 3 times. Well worth the trip, booking recommended.

Went for lunch with friends today and it was the first time my husband and I have been and it was great...the food was delicious...the staff were friendly....great atmosphere inside beautiful grounds outside...will definitely be going back

I believe it is privately owned... There was no evidence of any logos etc of the usual chains...

Hi sorry it's a late reply. Not sure, although the people who run the pub have a large dog ( German Shepard type) who was allowed albeit shortly to wander in the bar. But as for anyone else I would of thought doubtful... More
