Maybe this place was overwhelmed by the busy holiday season, but we had a bad experience here. The manager is not very friendly. We had a reservation, and were seated immediately, but waited a long time for our food to come out. Generally felt neglected. And the food was some of the worst we had in the area. The Italian... This place is a winner. French cooking and a cvozy setting with excellent service and ample pours on the wine by the glass. Was particularly impressed with the lambi (conch) sauteed with garlic and parsley. Subtle and without the chewiness that is sometimes the case with conch. I'm calling this "fine dining" not because of cost but quality of cuisine.

Went there for a family lunch on our last day, owners were really nice and the view over the port of Bayahibe was quite nice from our table. We were the only customers as we arrived quite early, they did a great job getting everything ready quickly for us If you dont want to go for the classic langouste, I... More

We had very good sea food and the french owner was very kind! Average price. The place has very nice furniture as well, and this helps to create the pleasant atmosphere!

We found the service was not very good (lack of attention and enthusiasm). One of the plates we ordered was good (grilled calamares) and the other was not (grilled shrimp). Some people next to us ordered the lobster and it looked great. However the lobster goes for around 1000 Dominican pesos. We would give this restaurant one more chance so... More

We chose two varieties of chicken, glass of wine and cuba libre. The restaurant looks very nice, location is good. Service was kind. Unfortunately portions were too small and prices quite high. No special or surprising taste. We left a little hungry and quite disappointed.

We ended up in this restaurant due to an unexpected rain shower. We had stopped once before but only had drinks. The quality of drinks varies depending on the bartender. The place was full with only one server but she apologized for our wait and was as attentive as could be expected. The food was okay......some things seemed over-priced but... More

This place is one of the few in the Bayahibe that offers French food. 'And let's face it, French food has a well deserved reputation. The food may have been out of place in Paris, but surely was up to snuff compared with the French countryside. Service was good too. Prices - well there are less expensive places in Bayahibe... After going through the menus pollo coco " chicken coconut" . There is a high level of reverse racism here and I was concerned; the waiter did not show a speck of hospitality in serving me. I could go on but I am still in this town. The meal was a scant portion of chicken, gravy with a sprinkling of coconut,previously... More
