The food was delicious: Salmon, pastrami and gamoneu cracker with peppers and anchovy. Different flavors that are ideal if you want to escape from traditional Asturian food. We ordered 3 dishes to share and it was more than enough. For dessert, cheesecake. Spectacular. To all this add a couple of glasses of wine and a water, in total a price just over €50. The attention has been very good, special mention for Ángel, it is clear that he is a great professional. I would definitely recommend this restaurant

A restaurant where it is worth noting the attention on the part of the manager who is charming and who also explains the dishes in detail, both by the waiters who attend just in time between plate and plate.
If we talk about the food... everything exquisite!!!!
We asked for four starters and a main one to share and it was a success.
The very good mussels, the incredibly rich fabada, the spectacular bulltail, the crispy goats very good too.
We ordered cheesecake for dessert made with incredible taste, we had never eaten it like this.
All of 10
Value for money perfect.
We were recommended by a friend and I recommend it again

We chose this restaurant to dine during our stay in the Peaks of Europe and celebrate my husband’s birthday.
The service was exceptional. The owner of the restaurant is the real business card of the space and cut for the function of host.
The food is of great quality and very well confectioned. We chose the meat that was fantastic.
We ordered a cheese pie (delicious) to put on a candle that we had brought to mark the date.
What was not our surprise when the owner of the restaurant appeared with the cake with candles lit and with background music of congratulations. 😊 The whole restaurant sang congratulations which became a very friendly and fun moment.
We loved, recommend and want to come back!

The experience at this restaurant was terrible, we will not return. We were waiting 1 hour for them to bring 2 courses. When we reclaimed the fact that they were taking too long, we were told that there was too little time left for them to be brought to us, and they almost started doing them (as we received them about 15/20 minutes later). The nefarious customer service likewise, the waiters did not listen or pay attention.
The food was very expensive and the quality of it did not correspond to the price asked for it. We were served even reheated meats, and others that were dry, cold and bland.
To make matters worse, on the outside of the place (the terrace), everything was very dirty and there were spiders and webs everywhere.
In short; customer service, value for money and deplorable atmosphere. 0 recommended, we will not return!

The best dinner we have made in Asturias, and by far! We chose four tapas that we shared. Three of them were memorable. The first happily revisited the mussels with a crispy black garlic and sea urchin caviar. The second consisted of a varnished eggplant whose tender and fragrant flesh was cooked with a little cheese and served with a bold and tangy arugula emulsion. Finally we tasted the specialty of the region, a melting fabada , tasty and perfectly spicy. We were won over by this careful and inventive cuisine, moreover the setting of the restaurant is warm, the decoration very tasteful finally, the master of the place appears affable and disert, he welcomed us like old customers.

A place with excellent food and exceptional treatment. Angel attended us one of the heads of the place and gave us a pleasant and endearing time as he told us his beginnings and walks. We were four people and started with a cheese lid that they take out while you wait for the ordered condumio. We continue with ribbon of crispness of goats, we continue with 2 tapas of fabada and 2 servings of exquisite fabada. We continue with 3 loins of grilled pixin and 1 bulltail. of pstres torrija, flan of chestnuts and ice cream. of cellar 1 bottle of payment of the chaplains and water. coffees and liquors. all a success.

After spending almost two years without returning to this restaurant, we were eating and it reminded us of the food as it was in the past: based on tradition, some dishes have evolved that make this restaurant a temple of cuisine in Cangas.
In addition to their classic crunchy cabrales, we tried a new creation of some surprising balls in squid sauce, followed by their famous tripe and their wonderful oxtail on a parmentier base.
Very pleasant service, although I think two things could be improved: we still miss a tablecloth and the paper napkins are not in line with the standard of the restaurant. The musical background could also be improved (the rumbas don't really hit much).
In any case, we will repeat because it is worth it.

Whilst the sidrerias of Cangas are great fun and good value, El Molin is 'a cut above' offering high quality food and service. The pastrami and the steaks were excellent. This was our most expensive meal in Cangas but given the quality of the food and service, we would definitely return.

A modern take on Spanish cuisine. Everything was cooked perfectly. They have typical tapas as well as smoked salmon, veal cutlet with local Cabrales cheese. Puff pastry filled with a delightful mixture of cheese and chick peas.
Wait staff was pleasant and tailored the meal to the number of guests instead of over ordering just to hike up the bill.
We went twice. Reservations recommended.

We had dinner there last night and were absolutely thrilled. We are starters and all were interesting and delicious. Crujiente de cabrales, brioche mini con lomo And costillas. They also had a little tapa that was my favorite.
The service was also spectacular. My son loves to eat hamburger with barbecue sauce and they made a special barbecue sauce just for him.
All in all 5 stars!

Traditional style restaurant, with 2 large rooms and terrace. Very cozy with large wooden tables and matching decoration. We really liked the food, from the starters to the fabada and desserts. The staff is nice and they advise you when ordering, we liked it a lot because there are few places where the experience is 360. If you are in cangas de onis and you want to pay yourself a tribute by eating, highly recommended!!

We had lunch there and shared 5 dishes between us (2 people). Some were culural experiences (ie I think you have to have grown up with them to enjoy), some were just out and out delicious. All were well prepared and flavourful. The staff spoke little English but were incredibly helpful in aiding our food ordering. Pointing at what others had and asking for recommendations worked really well.

We live in Zaragoza and we go to Cangas 2/3 times a year and a visit to the Molín is a must. Carlos Herrera already recommended croquettes on the radio years ago; Try them, but the truth is that they never stop creating and innovating. Any new dish is more exquisite.
For our last visit a few days ago, I recommend the squid fritters: delicious!!!! The black Angus, impressive and the torrija…. of death!!!
Congratulations to everyone who works there; professionalism and treatment of 10!!!!!!!!
You won't forget the experience of El Molín!!

Very delicious dishes of Asturian cuisine brought to the present. Unexpected presentations and mixes that work. Unpretentious and very accomplished
Unbeatable customer service
It is not easy to serve 15 tables on the street terrace, with many large groups, in the middle of August and with that level
To Repeat without hesitation!
