We always go to this restaurant a few times every time we are in Puerto del Carmen. We both love the food here and the staff are attentive without being intrusive. I Like the sangria here, although it may not be everyone's choice with an Indian! There are usually 10% discount vouchers from the guy outside when you're passing or if you really like a bargain pick up a "Go Around" leaflet from any Spar supermarket at the till where you will find a 20% discount voucher inside. Happy to recommend and will definitely be going again next time I'm in Puerto del Carmen.

My friend and I visited Indian Aroma tonight for the first time and were not disappointed. The service and food is first class, with attentive staff and very fresh authentic food. We had poppadoms, 2 starters, 2 rice, 2 mains and 2 beers for 35 euros. I’d definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for delicious Indian food at a reasonable price.

We visited this restaurant twice in our stay , 6 course lunch 9.95 euro excellant value. If you are ordering for two just choose one rice and one nann bread as two rice is too much . Cannot wait to return .

While on holiday we called in here most days. Sometimes just for a drink which are great value at 1.50 euro for a large beer but a few times we had lunch too. I loved the chicken tikka naan wrap which came with chips and a large beer for 5.95 euros. The wife loved the toasties which again came with chips and a beer for 3.50 euro. Our sons favourite was the chicken tikka masala. We loved this place and will definitely be back again this year.

This restaurant never fails. Came here for the first time in 2014 and we return every time we come back to Lanzarote. The staff are so friendly and couldn't help us out enough, even recommended a dish for my boyfriend to try as he wanted a change and he loved it. It is so reasonably priced for the amount and quality of food you get. You get a 10% discount if you are a returning customer also which is a nice touch. We always visit here at least twice or three times during our holiday as it is by far hands down the best Indian food we have ever had. Cannot wait to return.

Had the 6 course for €9.95 (before 7pm), every aspect was perfect from start to finish, we had a bhuna, tikka masala and a Korma and all were beautiful as well as all the extras. There is also an extensive menu available if people don't want this or wish to eat later. Can't recommend this place highly enough. Service was friendly and efficient too.

Me and my boyfriend came here 3 times during our stay here! Best restaurant on the whole strip of Puerto Del Carmen. Staff and owner are extremely friendly and attentive - owner explained in detail how to make the perfect jalfrezi! Food came out quickly and sizzling on the hot plates while sitting next to a warm fire and beautiful sunset view. All food we had from here was delicious and so was the tea we had for afterwards.

Having read the reviews on trip advisor I was expecting good things from this restaurant. And there are some things they do really well, the staff were very friendly, prompt and attentive. We ordered a mild chicken korma, and mild chicken tikka with pilau rice, naan bread. Nothing too fancy as that's just what we like. Comparing this food to the places we go in the UK and the Indian just a few doors down, the food was very bland, like really really bland. My korma, while creamy wasn't remotely sweet which I'm very much used to getting. The tikka wasn't any better, just had more tomato in it. The chicken in both dished was very dry and stringy, I've had much letter in cheaper takeaways. Not all was that bad, the poppadoms were delicious, as was the naan. Without those the meal would have been a complete write off. My advice would be to go elsewhere if you order similarly.

This restaurant was a pleasant surprise! We were craving spicy food and found the portions great value for money....we even took home a doggy bag because we couldn't finish it!! The food is authentic Indian cuisine, and the service was excellent. They allowed a nice time gap between courses and made the food to the spice level we were after. Will return again and highly recommend

We had a few drinks walking en route, then felt peckish, Gave our lunch order which looked like an excellent deal. Waiter asked us what we would like to drink initially I said nothing. Response from waiter was we could not have lunch unless we had a drink.. Husband responded by we would have water. not a friendly intro. anyway food arrived popadums and dips ok/well presented, badji was delicious, curry nice but bit thick. bits nan bread thin crispy and delicious. Overall lovely food, waiter seemed very efficient but think we would have been dismissed if we had not had drink. 7% city tax!!( Had lovely curry in Playa Blanca but no city tax or request to have a drink/ we had a lovely Indian chai there).

My friends and I recently visited this establishment on our holiday, after reading all the good reviews. Unfortunately for us, this was decidedly average. We felt service was rushed, waiters didn't spend the time to talk to you compared to other places on the same strip. There just wasn't much banter. They were cramming people in and we saw them move a couple to another table to fit more in. Food wise, portions are small and we felt it just wasn't that good of an Indian. My friends got 'medium' and they said it was more like a UK 'hot', so be wary when ordering. We didn't feel this was a relaxing evening and honestly couldn't wait to get out and go back to find a nicer place for drinks. I would save your money, there are loads of nicer restaurants on the strip!

First of all if you’re coming here you’re not going to have a bad curry in my opinion, the sauces and the meat are good quality. The staff are also very polite and attentive and one even explained different curries to us as we tried something different. Portion size is good and everything is clean. The only drawbacks I had were as follows: the sauce on the onions for the poppodoms wasn’t great, it didn’t have a flavour it was just hot. I got one of the specialities which was a mushroom based sauce with prawns chicken tikka and lamb tikka. There was only two very small prawns in it. Having said that the lamb was some of the best I’ve had. And finally we had a 20% discount on food which is great. However when we looked they had added over a €3 tip included in the bill. So therefore seeing as our meal came to €39.75 after the 20% off, we left €40 and that was it. I’m not sure if the staff get the tip that’s already included on the bill, but that isn’t usually the case. Had there been no tax like that on the end then we would have given a tip as the staff deserve it. I feel they are losing out on tips. I hope they rectify this for them. We would come back.

We chose this restaurant based on reviews and despite the unassuming exterior we were delighted with our choice. Huge menu left us spoiled for choice. Very tasty food, cooked to order and as spicy as u want. Peshwari naan was best ever. All food excellent. Waiters provided a very warm friendly service making it clear they want happy smiling customers, and that is what they got! Highly recommend

Visited here this week after reading all the fantastic reviews! Food absolutely gorgeous. Staff very attentive. My young grandson ordered a pizza and he didn’t like it because it had oregano on it. When the bill came the waiter knocked the price of the pizza off because it hadn’t been eaten. How nice was that! Try Indian Aroma….you definitely won’t be disappointed.

My wife and I enjoyed a fabulous meal here. The waiting staff were really friendly and helpful. I can’t eat cows milk so the waiter suggested they make me something for my starter that wasn’t on the menus and it was delicious. We live in Paris and I’ve yet to find a curry with the heat we like, so I opted for a Phal, it’s the hottest curry I’ve had in years… it was great!
