Great atmosphere. French decor makes this place something out of the ordinary. Food was excellent, but be prepared to pay a somewhat hefty price. This is not a cheap restaurant. Highly recommended.

It is not always easy to find restuarants with a variety of Vegetarian dishes!. Well, you have to go and visit The Burlesque Cafe. I still believe the best Vegetarian burger in the world, can be found there.

We went there for Sunday lunch and sat outside. The table cloth was wet. When we wanted to order a number of items were not available for lunch. We then moved inside due to the wet table cloth. When I took the serviette out of the wine glass it was still half full with a liquid. The service was slow... More

This is an amazing little cafe, quirky, but fun. Full of Burlesque memorabilia it's well worth a visit (if you can find it). Forget the map on Tripadvisor, it's several miles from the actual location. Find the BP GARAGE and its opposite. The menu off season was very limited, but food was good and the price very good value too.... More

This is the first visit we have made to Burlesque in "Low Season" and were greeted with usual friendliness and professionalism of the staff. The "High Season" menu is dropped during low season for a menu of "Daily Specials" with some of the best sellers from the High Season menu included. The limited number of dishes were well selected to... More

We visited this restaurant quite a while ago, so this is not an up to date review. The restaurant is very quaint, a little bohemian in style. We were disappointed in the service, the food was ok but it was a little expensive.

We finally made it to Burlesque Cafe and were sorry we'd waited so long! We had delicious food, friendly service and lots to look at in this quirky little eatery. Well worth a visit!

Last visit here was some 4 years ago when we were extremely impressed, not quite so impressed this time. Decor is as described in other reviews, quite eclectic and interesting. This time the food was a bit disappointing. The Thai green prawn curry seemed as if the sauce was made separately and the prawns just chucked in at the end.... More
