The service was reasonably pleasant, and the location is good -- but that's true of all the restaurants on the two quais. Our appetizers were average, and our main course (both had the same thing) was a bit below average -- good shrimp, over-cooked lobster and OK mussels. The TA-touted place we had wanted to eat at stopped serving lunch... More

Restaurant Caters to yachtsmen and tourists alike. Rustic setting with modern appointments. The dishes are simple yet perfect.

We walked along the beach from le Boucanet to have our evening meal here. Very friendly and attentive staff, fast service and terrific value on the basic €15 menu. I had Soupe de Poissons, Moules Frites and Mousse au Chocolat. This isn't pretentious in any way, it's straightforward cooking done well. Really nice place to spend an evening.

Moulesmarnie seem the dish of the day in any local restaurants and these were no better or no worse than others. The fish soup was good but very salty. The beef casserole was rich and filling with tender beef. 'Felt slightly crammed in as not much space between tables. The staff were pleasant and courteous.

Overall a very pleasant evening and the dish of the day seems to be Moules frites which I happen to like so we are in luck here, the restarant quickly filled up and most diners chose the Moules option so it's gotta be good right ! Overall a very pleasant experience and food was served just slightly longer than one... More

Next door to Cafe Moderne. Seated outside, not much space between tables, some are on slope. Food was average and staff were ok but we would not return. Overall bill for four was too expensive, not good value. There are plenty of others to choose from.

Good welcome the rest is memorable only for its poor quality of food and service. Ordered 1 starter and 2 mains- starter an one main arrived together! Fish looked as if it had been cooked hours ago and salad nicoise was bland. 2 young waitresses running around like fools, 4 others stood watching!!! Scored 1 because we could've score zero!

This was my second visit to this restaurant which is well known for its mussels. We got a very generous helping of mussels and delicious chips. We had to wait quite a long time to give our order but once given it did not take long to arrive. We were served by a very pleasant young lady. We enjoyed a... More
