My husband and I had a lovely, unique evening sailing on a dhow on Mida Creek. The service was very good, the evening snacks varied and ample. It was a different experience and one we would recommend most highly.

Perfect evening cruising up Mida Creek for the sunset especially when they turn of the engines and put up the sail. Lovely hot and cold snacks that kept on coming - so good that we did not need dinner afterwards. A must try is the 'dawa' drinks ... But they keep coming too so warch your step as you get... More

Absolutely excellent as always if you are not there you have failed. You may not be able to get there for Xmas dinner, (closely guarded list) but every other occasion just as good if not better but an absolute bucket list must

This was one of the highlights of my recent trip to Watamu. I was staying in Medina Palms who organised my time on the Dhow. The boat itself was stunning. On board the historic East African trade boat, we felt we were taken back in time but with all the modern comforts! We spent a beautiful evening exploring Mida Creek... More

Wonderful evening out for the family and completely unexpected, fantastic nibbles provided. Ranging from Oysters, Calamari, Samosas and plenty more. All the food was cooked to a fabulous standard. I thought it may just be crips and peanuts, so was pleasantly surprised! Great fun had by all jumping from the dhow, the current was stronger than expected, everyone on board... More

Mida creek is huge and a super environment for an evening cruise, we had oysters, calamari, prawns, chicken and brownies with ice cream. Great fun. Up the creek under sail and back under engine (or mostly) had a hiccup but all sorted quickly, a wonderful evening!

Amazing experience...i really never imagined it to be as good as it was. The cruise was relaxing and the view was breath taking. They docked the dhow and allowed us to jump in and swim in the ocean. The food was good particularly the calamari and the sardines. The bottomless dawas were just the cherry on the cake.... thanks David, we... More

What a wonderful day...and evening aboard this beautiful Dhow! Welcomed aboard with the hosts famous Dawa's and it just got better from then on! Full Christmas lunch for 12 cooked perfectly although it was somewhat surreal eating brussel sprouts on Mida Creek! Fantastic company, and hosts who know exactly how to entertain! Singing and laughing during an amazing sunset and... More
