Excellent food in a typical Asturian restaurant. This restaurant also doubles up as a Sidreria ( Bar & tapas ) and a Marisqueria (Sea Food). But beware !! The portions here are humongous. The waiters will not tell you this. Try sharing if you're a group larger than four people. Otherwise, great food and well priced. Recommended at any time.

Among the row of sidrerias along this road , this one has more of the feel of a proper restaurant with be-suited waiters and white tablecloths. I don't really understand why previous rooms make such a big thing of the difficulty of getting a table outside. I suppose it'[s buzzy out there but the tables aren't exactly on the harbour.... After a bit of a wait on a nice hot evening, even after booking, we secured an outside table, generally the food reflected the character of the restaurant, all bustle and not so much care. A great place to while away an evening, the sidre is nice, and I am sure if you are with a big group could make... More

Probably one of the most rude restaurant experiences I have ever had. Thankfully I had the presence of mind to leave before I even got a seat. There are more waiters than diners. I'd say 20+ and what a lazy bunch. Only interested in talking to themselves. They could not arrange a table inside, outside or at the bar. Their... More

It was a great choice we had done some research prior to going into town. We went into the Resturant at about 8 PM it was heaving I asked a waiter if there was a table available as lots of tables had reserved on, he asked his boss who said could we come back in half an hour and we... More

This is a very popular sidreria and we were asked to return after 30 minutes for a table. This was slightly curious as when we did return they just put up a couple more tables on the pavement right by the parked cars and vans which did nothing for the experience. As we were there for a light lunch we... More

Amazing food, perfect suggestions done by the crew, just a bit to slow between dishes. I guess it is because they were fully booked. We ate incredibly well. Be careful big portions. Order smartly! Totally a recommendation.

Lovely meal. We had a range of local dishes and enjoyed them all! Lovely waterside location. Waiters were very attentive.

This is a more formal restaurant than the other siderias we visited. The staff were very friendly. We had monkfish grilled which seemed to be in egg - something we have never had before. The portions are enormous so if there are 2 of you, order 2 dishes and no more!

The tapas bar we had wanted to visit in Ribadesella was closed so we wandered along and found ourselves going into El Campanu, which didn't immediately look promising. The tapas seemed expensive so we decided to go for something on the main menu, all of us plumping for the Fabada Asturias (local bean, sausage and bacon stew) which seemed appropriate... More
