We popped in this nice family run restaurant on our way from Gibraltar. It was a memorable time. Simple Authentic seafood, No fuss. The staff doesn't speak English so that was a bit of a struggle ordering the food but We quickly forgave them the moment the food arrived. The service was quick and excellent. Lovely place with the best... More

Absolutely love this place. A lot more on offer than your average fish restaurant. The prawns and cod are guwjuss. Cannot fault this restaurant at all. Always busy and nothing to much to ask for. Staff are really friendly and always accommodating.

This local restaurant is very good for seafood. Prawns are very nice from here. They don't open on Mondays so please be aware of this. They are very popular amongst the locals and it does get really busy even on a weekday. Everyone recommends this place for fish. If you are in La Linea and looking for you seafood fix... More

The food is just awesome - fresh, tasty, quite large portions. The must-try is of course any kind of fish/seafood but I also truly enjoy their serranitos. The interior is quite allright (very traditional, local Andalusian style) yet it's not a place where you take your partner for a romantic supper. (That's why I refer to this place as an... More

We went for a dinner on a Saturday - luckily we arrived shortly after opening time and were still able to get a table. If you come later it is customary to wait at the entrance for a table to become free. But that's all for the disadvantages. Prices are relatively cheap for a fish restaurant and the servings in... Bar Salas is, without a doubt the finest seafood restaurant I have ever been to. The servings are very generous, the salads are out of this world, the fish & squid is so fresh it's swimming and everything is cooked to perfection. We have been there many times, taken the whole family for our pre-wedding feast and they have never... More

We ate dinner there last night. We both ordered jumbo prawns. Each platter came with at least a dozen very large shrimp. They were cooked in salt and olive oil. They were messy to peel, but the taste was worth it. The meal only cost 10 euros. This is a very popular restaurant. So it was crowded. The only downside... More

Fresh fish, very cheap ..no frills type restaurant. You may have to queue to get in especially on Sunday. Very popular with the locals.

My uncle is from La Linea and he will confirm this is a great local spot with quick service to get you the some of the best seafood in town. Try the chocos - they are known to be the best at Bar Salas. The wait is never that long and while you are standing outside have the bartender pass... More
