What a fabulous find - via Trip Advisor of course - and such a great evening. We couldn't fault the service or the cooking - perfectly cooked red tuna, mouth watering crab, and a special fish lasagne. It just proves you don't need a large menu to have a fabulous meal. Don't miss out...

Fabulous meal (goat cheese salad followed by fresh monkfish). Great house wine by the carafe. Attentive friendly service. Excellent value for money. Can't think of anything that could be improved. Will definitely be going back.

We stopped at Le Tilapia for lunch on the way back from a promenade on the Mole. It is a small family-run restaurant with a menu that varies daily. We had a mackerel salad and a goats cheese salad, and were given a bowl of hummous with bread while waiting for the salads to be prepared. Both were excellent. What... More

Wow! Bravo! a family committed to good food, fresh food and organic food! menu changes every day, not a great many choices because everything is cooked fresh according to the day's shopping, but enough choices to make you salivate in advance! the wonderful hummus served first to keep you patient (freshly cooked food takes a bit of time!) the fish... We had lunch at La Tilapia and it was very delightful. We only had one course, the tuna, and had to wait a little while before it was served, however the waitress brought a plate of bread and hummus for us to enjoy while we waited. It was very delicious. The tuna was perfectly cooked to our liking, and definitely... More

Good, fresh seafood, but the location is not so nice, especially sitting outside is like sitting next to a motorbike race

We found out about Le Tipalia on Trip Advisor and were not disappointed. It was a lovely meal, fresh, tasty, beautifully presented, reasonably priced and with very friendly service. We would highly recommend it.

This was one of the finest seafood meals we have eaten out for a long time. The food at Le Tilapia was fresh, tasty and very attractive on the plate. Jean Claude, the main man was assisted by his partner, son and daughter to deliver us a truly amazing meal. We were very well informed about our dishes and very... More

We discovered this place by chance and consider ourselves very lucky! In order to avoid disappointment try your best to make sure that you book a table in advance or try to get there when it opens because there is very limited seating. The daily menu changes depending on what fresh fish and fresh local produce is available, and usually... More

We dined at La Tilapia at the recommendation of our Airbnb host when visiting Sete, France . It was a wonderful experience of local seafood and dishes. The freshness of the fish and seafood was beyond compare. We enjoyed the local specialties of octopus and mussels snd a bottle of local wine . Desserts were delightful and presented beautifully ....
