We were on the more expensive menus. We enjoyed all the food. The presentation was not haute-cuisine but the quantities were generous. Service was very slow especially towards the end. We didn't mind too much because we were chatting but it was difficult to get a bill and leave. We were in the restaurant from 12.30-3.00 ish. I had the... More

This is an "old style" touristic restaurant. They serve food that was cooked twice, put some old toast under the fish and the head waiter that shows you to your place had a real attitude. When you try to find your way to the toilet you end up in the neighbouring restaurant, the guy behind the bar looks at you... More

We went for a late dinner. The food was ok - nothing really special, we doubted the dessert was homemade. The waiter was passive. For sure we will not give another go.

Appalling disinterested service, extremely mediocre food, a Sétois tourist ripoff, like so many others in the port of Sète.

One of the better typical seaside restaurants, tapas for starter was nice as was the fish for main, could not say better it was average for the price, drinks expensive, staff forgot hubby's main until reminded

On a dull, misty and cold February night we went along the waterfront looking for somewhere to eat dinner. There was a glitzy touristy place open with a polite tout on the pavement, but we went back to a quiet resurant. It was lovely, and locals were eating there, always a good sign. Service was quick and pleasant. The menu... More

Knowing that you are right at the canal and that we went during a non-touristic season, we got a great experience at La Calanque. Mussels were really nice, well prepared and so was the salmon pasta. No bad surprises when receiving the bill. Easy location as we could just walk back to our hotel, also located on the canal.

We had a late lunch and thankfully they were one of the few places open. Filled mostly with tourist but a few local young adults. We ordered the mussels and white wine. They came with bread and the portion size was huge. Better than the size was the taste, they were absolutely amazing! Fresh and simply some of the best... More

Great meal only wanted a light lunch. Three of us had a fantastic salad of goats cheese. One of the best we have had in France. The stuffed squid was superb as well.Service and wine also excellent. Will go back in June .
