The food was just below average, we were done after one plate as it was cold and pretty tasteless. The thing that saves the restaurant was the friendly staff that were serving us

I booked more than a week in advance for a buffet Sunday lunch for 30 people. As I had 12 kids coming I had asked for the tables to be near the kids play area. When I arrived I was shocked that they had put us as far away from the play area as possible. When I questioned why we... More

Monday Buffet lunch @ Sanctuary Lakes Hotel was pleasant and good value at $18.90 per person. A selection of different foods - the beef roast was excellent and very tender with roasted vegetables. Three different sauces to choose from. Chicken Parmigiana and Asian dishes also on offer. Suggestion - just needed a better selection of condiments like more dressings, lemon... More

Very average food.. the saving grace is that it is a buffet, but other than that not much going for it.

While eating here for the first time I witnessed 1 child licking the ice cream scoop, and another using their fingers to scoop food off the serving spoon into their plate. I told someone and they straight away took the utensils away BUT they should have someone supervising or not allow children to serve themselves. Gross. The pros....the roast was... More

With plenty of large tables available, the Sanctuary Lakes Hotel is a good place to catch up with groups of family and friends. The buffet changes on different nights so you can select which types of foods interest you. The regular buffet has a good range of choices available but I'd advise getting there at the start of the session... More

Sanctuary lakes Hotel provides several dining options from Buffet to Sports Bar meals and has a private function area and a Piano Bar. The buffet area is most suited to families with children, but can be expensive unless you are a big eater and can take advantage of the "all you can eat" service. The Sports Bar is good value...
