Wow we seen a review for this on YouTube and I thought they have given it an overrated review as they knew him. I have to admit I was wrong as we tried the afternoon set menu, we checked if it was gluten free and most was, nan and the things you knew would have gluten did but a lot of the menu was gluten free. We had 3 curries and the mixed grill. The prices were €20 for the curries which includes starter, curry then rice or nan. The mixed grill comes with rice or nan. It was amazingly taste and would definitely say try it you won’t be disappointed.

This Indian Restaurant was recommended to me by one of the Receptionists at the Resort I was staying at in Costa Teguise. It was a nice comfortable walk to it.
On my first visit the restaurant it was quite quiet to begin with but I was early however it soon became very busy. I had a nice table in the outside undercover area so I was overlooking the beach area but could also People Watch which was great!!!
I ordered a glass of house wine whilst I looked over the menu. I said to the very nice friendly waiter that I was not in a hurry if that was alright with him I would give him a nod when I was ready to order my meal which I did.
I decided to order an 'Old Favorite' of mine which was Lamb Bhuna and I had this with Pilau Rice. I was very taken aback at how well the meal was presented in a little pot over a burner which is a great idea for someone who is a slow eater like myself at least your food is kept warm!! It was not the biggest portion of curry I have had but it was sufficient for me. The Pilau rice looked so special as well.
Suffice to say I thoroughly enjoyed my meal it was great. The Lamb Bhuna was just perfect and so tasty.
I had to pay another visit to the Restaurant as I enjoyed my meal so much and on the second occasion I opted for the Set Menu at 17.00 euros + tax!! This I thoroughly enjoyed and knew full well I would not be able to eat it all!! It was just so nice to have all the different tastes and flavors of the various courses. Suffice to say I had to have a doggy bag which the restaurant were more than happy with.
I would most certainly recommend that you book a table if there is a party of you going in for a meal because on both my visits it became VERY BUSY which was good for them.
The food was delicious and I wanted to return for a further meal before my departure however I ran out of time so hopefully I will be able to visit Costa Teguise again in the future and I most certainly will return for a meal.
I would have no hesitation in going back to this restaurant, the service was spot on and the food was so, so nice. On the experience I had I would have no hesitation on recommending it if you are into Indian food you will not be disappointed.

Lovely place to relax eat loads and enjoy. Service is fantastic staff can't do enough for you and the prices are very reasonable €60 for a lovely 2 course meal including a large beer, a glass of rosé wine and a soft drink. Can't go wrong in my opinion.

We have visited this restaurant before and been very happy with the food and service. Unfortunately this time we were very disappointed with the service and food, the food we received was not what we ordered but when we pointed this out we were made to feel that the mistake was ours.
There was no apology for the error and no reduction in the price, in fact they seemed surprised we didn’t leave a tip

Had a lovely curry meal whilst on holiday. The restaurant was very busy but the service was very good and the food was delicious. The medium curry special was right on my limit but very enjoyable and the meat was so tender. Complimentary honey rum shots to end the meal was a lovely touch. I'd definitely visit again and would highly recommend

We have been coming here for a few years now when on holiday in Lanzarote and everytime the service and food has been outstanding.
I am a very fussy vegetarian but I have never left disappointed. The waiter has always helped accommodate and made me a curry that was vegetarian but not on the vegetarian menu. The prices are very reasonable considering its in the tourist hub! My parents who are once again quiet fussy are always accommodated and leave very full and happy. The curries are super tasty and full of flavour. The rice tastes fresh, not clumped together as though its been made for hours and reheated. The portion sizes are great too and 1 rice will do 2 people. The curries are service in a really interesting dish with a lit candle underneath! The garlic nan is absolutely delish with the right amount of garlic, its soft and cooked just right.
The service is great and we have had the same waiter the last 3 years, he is always very friendly and delivers service with a smile.
My parents enjoy the free shot at the end of the meal (very common in lanzarote) and as a non drinker I am always offered a drink of fruit juice 😊.
I would absolutely recommend this restaurant and can't wait to go back next year!

Arrived for a walk-in on the day of arrival.
Service was so slow, had 2 ask for drinks twice (both times).
It was pretty quiet as it was quite late but the waiter took or order then came back 15 mins later to take it again!!!!
Food was ok, maybe being from the north West I expect too much from this type of restaurant abroad. I'd discussed the heat of dishes and was told what I'd ordered was hot....it was balti level and the chicken in both our dishes was well on the dry side.

We have stayed in Costa Teguise many times over the years but this was our first time having dinner here! Wow, what can I say, this was the best Indian food I have ever tasted, the chicken pakoras were delicious, the portions were the perfect size for everyone. We all enjoyed the butter chicken and my husband particularly enjoyed his lamb rogan Josh. The butter naan breads were massive and so tasty. We enjoyed or meal so much we went back again 3 days later and we will most definitely be back in May during our next holiday. Service was very good, attentive and the food did not take long to arrive at the table. The food was great value for money. Can’t wait to go back next trip! Thank you Namaste!

Whilst staying nearby my girlfriend and I decided to give it a try, probably the best Indian curry I have had. I was very impressed with good portion sizes and prompt service throughout. Also if you order alcoholic drinks there are free shot of rum. Which I feel is a very nice touch even to see the look on my girlfriend's face after lol. Overall if you are staying in the area it is an absolute must visit you shall not be disappointed and always be well fed.

This restaurant was the most pleasant experience we have ever had!! Staff were friendly and helpful.
They made a dish for me as I don’t like anything hot just really tasty.
The food was outstanding!!
Can’t wait to come back tomorrow for our second helping!!!

The food was tasty and they have a wide selection of proteins that you can eat with all the different types of curries. Food came quickly and we were all happy. They also have a kids menu and high chairs for babies and toddlers.

My husband and I like curries and we visited Namaste Indian Restaurant, Cucharas. We were waited on by Raja whose hospitality, service and manner was excellent and very friendly. I am an introvert in public spaces and he had me talking! The food was delicious and freshly cooked. I had lamb curry for the first time and it turned out to be an excellent choice as the lamb was very tender. I also ordered peshwari naan and it was very fluffy and sweet. The prices are very fair and they do a generous set meal for 17 euros. My husband got brandy aperitif which he thoroughly enjoyed. We plan to go back again before we leave Lanzarote. Highly recommend eating at Namaste in Cucharas! Barron

Definitely recommend a visit here if you like Indian food. Everything we ordered was steaming hot, tasted incredible and the atmosphere of being by the beach was lovely. The staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough for you.

We fancied a curry on holiday and decided on the specials they were offering- set meals of popadoms, bargi-chick tikka, chicken tikka masala/ chick korma with rice or nam. We shared our meals which worked out really nicely. You can order your curry in mild, medium and hot. It arrived quickly, good service and would eat there again.
My only criticism is I would like a hotter curry but that’s all down to personal taste, it tasted delicious.

We visited twice. 1st time served by a lovely lady ( May have been Scottish) . Service and food was excellent
We went back a second time and it was terrible
The lady who served us before wasn’t there and the servers were miserable looking
There was a weird atmosphere
I tried another dish this time and it wasn’t nice
They forgot some of our order
The kids food they serve (chips etc ) is disgusting. They obviously think they can dish out undercooked frozen chips to kids but I think it’s unacceptable.
It’s unfortunate because the first visit was lovely but would never return here
The male servers have a lot to learn about being warm and welcoming.
