We called in on the off chance of a table but it was the 1st day of reopening after the new year break but the host made us a booking for the following evening. The menu isn't extensive but that can be a good thing and the food we were served was very good. Basque Style squid stew was very nice Not the cheapest but it's more inline with "English" pricing I'd say. €75 for two courses for two people with a drink each, which is fair enough for decent food

My wife and I have been threatening to go to El Navarro for many years but never managed to secure a booking due to its popularity, now we can see why. We booked five days in advance to enable us to obtain our optimum timing and visited last night. The restaurant is clean, crisp, modern and fictional. We hadn’t looked at the menus in advance but there was adequate choice on a modern Euro theme. I had the grilled goats cheese/spanish black pudding/puff pastry to start which was visually great and a riot of great tastes. Possibly the best starter I have ever had!! For the main I had the grilled salmon on a bed of puréed pea and sliced potato which was equally brilliant. To finish I had the Spanish bread and butter pudding which was great and capped the meal of nicely. The wine list was plenty adequate and although they are listed by the full bottle we had several of the Tempranillo served by the glass. The waitress (only one as far as we could see) was everything you would want, timely, efficient, calm and friendly. The final bill was €87 when we were expecting something well into the hundred. To sum up, a superb restaurant with stunning food at a frankly unbelievable price. Thank you El Navarro.

We ate here twice while on holiday on the outskirts of Costa Teguise. It's worth booking in advance because it's often fully booked. The restaurant is run by one chef and one server. It was never full because reservations are staggered to ensure quality of food and experience. This is very fine food at reasonable prices. We pay more for less at our local Italian in the UK. Highly recommend.

We always visit el Navarro and it is usually one of our holiday highlights. However, not this time, my husband chose the sirloin steak, I chose the salmon. We did have some very nice olives and a small amuse Bouche, but we were disappointed with the main courses. Although tasty neither the plate nor food were hot in either case and my husbands steak had been cut up into strips. It is difficult to complain with a full restaurant and only one waitress trying to do the whole restaurant. When the bill came and I did say that although the food was tasty neither it nor the plate was hot she said I should have asked for a hot plate when ordering!,!! We’ve never heard that before. Needless to say we’ve found better restaurants Hammys and Mar Azul to name two so we won’t be back.

We had a very quiet dinner after having to wait about 15 min to be served as only one girl was for the whole restaurant, and a 15/20 table was being served when we arrived. To highlight the foie, exquisite. Very very normal and even dry goat cheese. The croquettes tasted very good and the meat was also rich.

On Costa Teguise there is a restaurant not to be missed. From the outside it looks like a restaurant to use but inside it is very well set, and the sympathy of the staff is extraordinary. Good wine list (we drink Clunia Syrah) and the dishes are extraordinary, the cod confit over risotto are saffron, the tuna taco , carrilleras with red wine, all exquisite and at a very reasonable price. There are also highly recommended off-the-chart options. It is close to the Radisson Blu Lanzarote hotel. It is certainly a place that if you try you will repeat, as happened to us.

The restaurant has nothing to do with the low-key venues that crowd Costa Teguise side by side in truly unattractive facilities, mostly dedicated to noisy English and German tourism. El Navarro can boast both in the setting of the interior of the restaurant, and in the service and culinary proposals, a decidedly higher level. The owner is friendly and professional, the dishes are presented with elegance and the flavors are the result of the work of a chef worthy of the name. The background music and a proper bill were the icing on the cake of the best evening of our holiday. Good!

Visited this restaurant in Playa Bastian on a Saturday evening and it was buzzing. The server (I didn’t catch her name) was very busy but soon dealt with our booking with humour. She was so friendly, helpful and funny - a delight. The menu was short but perfect and I struggled to select as the choices were great. The free starter was some olives and small glasses of gazpacho which were delicious. We both selected the duck main, cooked medium and it was divine. Best duck I have ever eaten with a stunning sauce and a balsamic reduction. We shared the cheesecake dessert, again a good portion and delicious. Overall amazing and highly recommended to try.

This restaurant is a cut above any other restaurants we've eaten at in Costa Teguise. The menu, the ambience and service are all top notch and comparable to some Michelin starred places we've tried around the world. The innovative menu and combination of flavours are what make it so special. We ate there twice on our recent trip and both times the food was excellent. Warm freshly baked bread is provided with two types of butter, together with a plate of olives and a stunning gazpacho amuse bouche. I had the tuna tartare special starter on the our first visit and loved it so much I had to have it again. Both times I had a main meal of fish and both times the fish was fresh and cooked to perfection and paired with delicious sides and sauces. My husbands starters were declared excellent each time and his mains (suckling pig one night and iberian pork the other) were top quality tender pieces of meat. The service is impeccable and the decor/table settings all to a very high standard. It's imperative to book this restaurant - each time we were there every table was reserved and they are continually turning people way as there is no chance of getting a table by just walking up. If you are looking for somewhere which provides a truly special all-round dining experience this is the place for you

Wonderful food and great service. Everything the family ordered was delicious, from the fabulous starters (we had the specials: clams in garlic and tempura king prawns) to the mains: beautifully cooked duck, steak, salmon and tuna. Highly recommend!

Out for a walk down Santa Rosa rather than the main area and came across this fantastic restaurant, honestly this is the best three plates of food I have eaten in a good while . The croquettes were melt in you mouth , the pork belly was absolutely fantastic and to finish I had cheese cake and it was sublime . My wife had prawn , scallops starter and the steak and said both plates were again of a five star standard. All plates were cleared . The young lady on front of house really is a credit to this place super friendly and had a really pleasant manner. All in all a very good experience. Once back in Costa Teguise I will definitely be making a return visit as it was my second last night in the resort .

What a special place, walking past here in the daytime I’d dismissed this as a closed down cafe. Couldn’t have been more wrong - after googling somewhere nice to eat I was confused to discover that one of Costa Teguise’s top restaurants was only a stones throw from our apartment (Santa Rosa). I booked online to make sure we got a table and WOW the food did not disappoint. A small but perfectly executed menu, real fine dining. We shared garlic prawns and bread to start, they also bought out some olives and a cold tomato drink. I had beautifully presented teriyaki salmon on pea purée for mains and my husband had the most tender lamb he’s ever tasted. The portions aren’t large which means you can then move on to the wonderfully light deserts which were so delicate (recommend the bread and butter pudding and cheesecake), followed by good coffee. This chef is to be commended. The whole ambience of this place was classy and relaxed - would definitely recommend (reserve a table online)

Really lovely food and such friendly staff here. Nothing is too much trouble. We didn’t book and were lucky to get a table as there were loads already reserved. I had the squid stew and my husband had the pork cheek, both cooked beautifully. Also gaspacho appetiser was delicious. Would recommend. Kids menu- they can do any meats from the main with potatoes and veg plus you usual nuggets, pasta etc.

Ate at El Navarro last night with my wife (it was our wedding anniversary). What a lovely restaurant - nice ambience, modern decor and the food was amazing. For starter I had the smoked salmon with avocado mouse on rosti, followed by the Iberico pork cheek. My wife had the Lanzarote salad (lentil based with beetroot, dates and cherry tomatoes) followed by the black Angus steak. All courses were excellent. Really reasonably priced too. This is a two person operation with all front of house and waitressing by one lady. Amazingly efficient and very friendly. I’d thoroughly recommend this place, especially to foodies who appreciate something a bit different . Thank you for a lovely evening.
