We love going to La Mata Tinta! It’s such a charming restaurant and bistro that offers something for everyone. Good wines! Delicious food! Craft beers! The owners are passionate about what they do! You can tell this by experiencing the way that they and their staff take care of customers. We’re always able to sit back and relax after a... More

I think the only reason this restaurant survives is that it is the stopping place in tlaquepaque for the Hop on hop off tour buses. Our light lunch sandwich was made with three day old bread and processed cheese and ham slices. Stay away

I wrote a review of this restaurant two years ago but am still impressed by the quality of the food, the service, and the atmosphere. The restaurant is set back in a little shopping area and seating is both in (fairly small area) and outside (larger). If you are shopping til you drop this is a great place to recharge.... More

We stopped by for middday meal (la comida) at about 2 in the afternoon. This restaurant is in the heart of the artisan's district of Tlaquepaque and most of it is in the form of an outdoor cantina. We selected from the individual items and made our own meal and it was all very, very good. The staff did not... More

Loved the salmon - fresh & well prepared, exceeded my expectations - very reasonable price for the quality of food - don't pass on the chance to visit when in Guadalajara...will definitely return.

All around pleasant experience: mostly good food (one dish over salted), good service, friendly staff, reasonable prices and pleasant ambiance day and night.
