Mondays are always a difficult day to find somewhere decent for a meal. Jo's was great nice roast and desserts are decent.

We stopped in on a whim and we were not disappointed!! Mouth watering scallops as an entree. The steak meal was cooked to perfection. And my partner was raving about her delicious thhock and creamy seafood chowder. Was a great relaxing atmosphere to unwind and eat after a long hot day in the car.

Great food, great outdoor eating area, good value. Plenty of parking out front and close to the warehouse and countdown.

We visited here on a Thursday for lunch (during the Northland Field days being held in Dargaville). Our overwhelming impression was the 45 minute wait for average food. We appreciate being told when there will be more than 30 minutes to wait. We ordered a chicken salad and lambs fry and bacon (which came with mashed potato& peas). The coffees... More

Seafood chowder yum and good value. Disappointed with scallop and salad- lettuce, 1 tomato wedge and 4 small scallops. Was quiet on the Monday before Xmas when town was busy. Probably wouldn't go back again.

I took my mum, brother and nephew for lunch. We all had the seafood chowder which was really thick and delicious, and we had a lovely cup of coffee afterwards. The staff were friendly and cheerful

My wife and I visited this week and found the food was still good honest home cooked style food. The pricing was very reasonable making Jo's an easy choice. We did note that the business is for sale currently but this certainly has not affected the meal. Lots of locals were there and they were clearly regulars.

I enjoyed a bacon and egg breaky accompanied by a lovely little coffee on the verandah of this quaint establishment. An array of lovely home made goodies was on offer too.
