Not disappointed.

Have lived on the coast for many years and finally went to Taboon last night wanting to try something different. The food was great as was the service. Their take on Cheesy Garlic bread was to die for and our mains of Lamb Skewers and...the other a Lamb Shoofta were sooo nice. Maybe a little less rice needed. We were full and shared a dessert, definitely glad we went and will certainly be going back again.More

Disappointed

We got take out last night and it was terrible. We order the halloumi entree which was over deep fried and hard as a rock with no cheese left in it. I also ordered the Skewer platter and they said it was enough for two...and there was hardly anything on it the meat wasn’t even skewer anymore someone just pulled it off and it look like little nuggets of meat. It’s also come with Falafel that was so burn I was shocked that they even served it. I heard good things about this place and unfortunately was a waste of $67.More

Really good food! The deserts and Turkish coffee were surprisingly good. Tried a lot of foods we haven’t had before and was impressed by everything! This will be our go to for Middle Eastern! Nothing to Fault here!More

Nice food and atmosphere

Well located in that it is on outside of smaller shopping center near but outside the huge Robina Town Center - thus parking veryt easy Decore attractive and well staffed though order/pay at counter - food delivered to table The near full place seemed to...be havo9nbga great time. Selected for a catch up with friends as it is their favourite lunch spot. Most had the lunch bowls- the pulled lamb served on Egyptian rice was particularly tasty. The chicken skewer mon salad was a large skewer of perfectly cooked juicy chicken on a...good crunchy salad. Portion sizes are very generous. A short alcohol list is perfectly adequate. Very tasty food good friendly service

A great discovery for us we will return when next up that way . I had the Lamb Rump skewers and my wife the Beef rump ones and both were cooked perfectly (mine was best hahaha!! ) The rice etc they came with was yummy...too especially the Spicy Date Chutney ( with the Beef ) we loved it so much we bought a couple of containers to take with us . The service was attentive and friendly explaining the different things on the menu that we did not know etc.. I will return and RecommendMore

Great restaurant

We just happened to walk past this restaurant today and decided to go in after looking at the menu. Middle Eastern Delight

We had lunch and chose the skewer platter for 2. The chicken, beef and lamb were superb with the right level of spice. The dipping sauces were delicious, particularly the chutney. Overall their food is clean, fresh and tasty. Their coffee and sweets are equally...as delightful and of course being a family run business the service is friendly and prompt. Great food at a great price

Loved the food, we had the Lamb Tagine and Taboon Fish. Both meals were delicious, large dishes at a low cost point. Starters were great, the hummous and lamb dip, and the cheese sambusak, both again decent portions. All in all for 2 people the...total cost was close to $100, which is quite good for what we got. I would have paid more. Ambience was great, staff were very courteous and helpful. We will be going back.More

Yummmy yummy

Lovely food. The lamb pizza is to die for! The lamb tagine omg and the share platters well just lovely. I find hidden treasure

Dear taboo ,I can't tell you how happy we are to find you ,your food is amazing,the flavours is to die for ,first time here for me and my husband but you will see more of us , the waitres was suggested the lamb tagines...meat was so tender and flavour ooo yummm , we went to seascape in surface the lamb was cook for 12 hours and price was 49 $ and no flavour no Salt or garlic or anything ,,so your lamb,, taboo ""is 10 times better ,we have mix grill ,your dips is amazing as well so Well DONE ooo and we have dessert or so goodMore

Disappointed

I dont like to give negative reviews of restaurants in this period of difficult times, but I was disappointed with my meal of lamb shoofta. I found it quite tasteless! My halva icecream for dessert had hardly any halva in it. My husband had crumbed...prawns which he enjoyed. I feel also that it was quite expensive & unfortunately I wont be returning.More
