Fabulous staff, fantastic food, consistent, been a few times since new location. Had my birthday here in November with 14 of us and everyone was so impressed with the service and food✔️ the Lamb Cutlets are my favourite choice with the garlic cheese bread. How...lucky am I to live across the road👍More

Came here last night with a group of friends to celebrate a birthday. I found the service very slow and the manager not very attentive. My wife had the late which was very nice and I had the Wagyu Steak, which is what they recommend...as the best. How disappointed was I! The steak was cooked perfectly but was very sweet but had no flavour at all. There was an Idaho potatoe that had 6 small pieces of minced beef on top which should have been bacon and just didn't go well with a steak. The coleslaw was just grated cabbage with no sauce and quite disgusting. Then they had a very small serve of a finely chopped tomato which again mate no sense or flavour and just didn't go with the meal. The worst of all was the mushroom sauce which was literally 2 spoons full of the smallest, thinnest mushrooms I have ever seen in a very watery sauce. It was terrible! I just cannot understand how a chef or tge manager can let this rubbish be served and charge $44.00. We will definitely not be coming here again and has got to be up there with some of the worst meals on the coast.More

Cavills Steakhouse could do a lot better. I had a table booked. When I arrived it wasn't ready was shown to table that had been used. Staff cleaned it in front of me. Food, well I've had better. Hot bread rolls were cold. The cold...sangria was hot. Oysters Kilpatrick had absolutely no taste. Steak was ok but the pub serves better. Cold slaw was below average, tomato salsa I had about a teaspoon and something in the potato. Absolutely no COVID19 precautions were in place. Wasn't asked to check in, hand sanitiser was nowhere to be seen and social distancing left a lot to be desired. However staff were pleasant. And bill came quickly.More

I cannot understand the big deal about this restuarant. For the price there is nothing special, especially for such a casual setting. Our 200g steaks cost $38 each and with that we got a pile of coleslaw, a dry baked potato and hardly any diane...sauce. The garlic bread for entree was dry and inedible. For what we paid I would rather go to a 5 star restuarant. Special mention must go to Didio, the waiter and the waitress from Slovakia.More

7 of us ate here the food was very disappointing. I have had $15 steaks from RSL that have been better. The mash tasted like it was pre bought in bulk and not even warmed up that well! as did the sauce. The steak was...totally inedible the waitress did say that if I had told her sooner she could of got me another one cooked but as I did tell her the first time she came around and that was to collect the plates!! I took the steak home as they were charging me for it!! And even my poor pooch couldn't eat it! Highly disappointing and would definitely not recommend it save yourself some money and go to a club as you will get the same standard of food totally ruined a Birthday celebration ... highly disappointing .More

, the service and staff friendliness at Cavs was equivalent to the excellent food. There is a butcher shop next door owned by Cavs and the meat is well worth the visit

Dined here Saturday night..haven't been here in about 10 years and the decor hasnt changed. Husband ordered eye fillet and said it was the best steak he has ever eaten even better than the amazing steak he had in Amsterdam last year. I had the...chicken dish which was very nice with the best potato mash. Dessert we shared an Apple Crumble which was just deliciousness. The staff were very friendly we will definitely be back. Highly recommend if you are a steak lover.More
